"Decent Place, But Needs Some Updates"
Edencrest was nice, but the views weren't that great and it looked like it needed some updating.

"Edencrest Beaverdale Wrongly Disposed Personal Possessions, Ignored Rectification Requests"
I shifted my mom away from Edencrest Beaverdale on July's first day. I took all of her important personal belongings, only leaving her big furniture. Edencrest management informed me that I had all of July to get the rest of her stuff. When I came back on July 9 with help to get the furniture, I was shocked to find out her room was vacant. All of her furniture vanished. According to the staff, they moved everything off and had thrown most of it away. My kid was informed that employees could keep anything they wanted before throwing the rest away. The staff, who is in charge of sales and operations at Jaybird Senior Living, told my daughter we would get paid for everything that got destroyed. I've been emailing and asking the staff to correct this mishap for over two months. There has been no resolution at all, and almost zero communication.

"Care Concerns at Assisted Living: Staff Turnover, Poor Meals"
This place has a lot of different people working because they don't pay much. The bosses care more about saving money than they do about the people living here. The food isn't good, and if you ask the people who live here when they're not with the bosses, they'll tell you the truth. They don't really let you pick what you want to eat like they say they do; it's just whatever they decide to make that day. And they only give you food at meal times, not whenever you're hungry. Be careful about how much they charge you because they raise the prices a lot, sometimes every year or even more often. They spend money on making things look nice, but they don't spend enough on taking care of the people who live here.

"Friendly Staff and Convenient Location"
We’re considering it, but unsure about the cost. The location is great, and the staff is friendly.

"Corporate Assisted Living Facility Lacks Compassion"
Be cautious about this assisted living facility's corporate rules when considering it for your loved one. Unlike state-owned care facilities, they don't adhere to the same guidelines. They restrict family visits due to strict COVID protocols, allowing reservations only within a 24-hour window and limiting visits to five days a week. Where's their compassion?

"Spacious Living Spaces"
The rooms are spacious, like empty apartments. Our loved one had plenty of space in their one-bedroom apartment.

"Engaging Activities and Visitor Access, Mixed Food Quality at Community"
There are still activities happening outside for the residents. Musicians and balloon artists have come to perform, along with other activities outside the community. I would suggest this community to my friends. We can have visits through the window. My loved one doesn't think the food is the greatest.

"Assisted Living Resort-Like Atmosphere with Active Engagement"
Edencrest community feels more like a resort than a hospital, offering a variety of room options including kitchen, living room, and bedroom areas. Despite current restrictions, they've maintained activities like a mini state fair and outdoor concerts, keeping residents engaged and active.

"Impressive New Facility with Friendly Staff and Clean Environment"
This place is brand new and super clean. The staff were really nice and ready to help with any questions we had. When we bring Mom back to see it again, we'll probably have more questions. But overall, I was really impressed with the whole place.
