"Expensive Assisted Living with Limited Independence"
Pretty nice place, but too pricey for Mom. More help than freedom. Checking other options.

"“Friendly, Clean, and Enjoyable!”"
I’m doing great since I moved here. It’s a nice place, and everything is going well. The staff is really friendly and always ready to assist. They keep the place clean, and I like the meals. I’ve tried some of the activities they offer, too. Overall, my experience here is positive, and I’d recommend it.

"Wonderful and safe place"
The people at this community have treated my mom and stepdad great. They went above our expectations. When their place wasn't ready on time, they found something even nicer for the same price. My mom is happy, and that's all that matters. She didn't want to move but knew she couldn't stay on the farm. This is a wonderful place for them, and they are safe. My mom said the food is good and it's like being at a fancy motel.

"Warm and inviting assisted living facility earns high recommendations."
This place is really nice too. It would be my second pick at this point.

"Disappointing Experience at Glenwood Place Assisted Living Facility"
When you first go to Glenwood Place, it seems nice. But once you sign papers and settle in, things get bad. There aren’t enough nurses, and the ones there aren’t very helpful. They give out medicine too early in the morning and evening. The food is okay most days, but on Sundays, there aren’t enough staff, and they’re sometimes rude. It’s hard to coordinate between long term care and Glenwood. They didn’t send important information several times, and it took three months to fix it. I hoped they’d encourage residents to join activities, but they only tried a few times and then stopped, even though my mom has Alzheimer's and can’t remember. There are many other problems too. Nothing is as good as it seems.

"Glenwood Place: Where Not Everything Is As It Seems"
At first, Glenwood Place seems nice, but after you sign all the papers, things go downhill. The number of nurses is too low, and the only registered nurse can be short and doesn't give a lot of information. They give out medicine too early in the morning and too early at night. The food is okay, except on Sundays when only a few staff members are working and some of them can be unfriendly. Working out long-term care with Glenwood is a tough task. They didn't send the needed information several times and it took three months to sort it all out. I thought they'd encourage the residents to join in activities, but they give up after a couple of tries, forgetting that my mom has Alzheimer's and can't remember. There are so many other issues. Nothing is ever as it seems.
