"Crowded dining, okay care, not homey compared to others."
The first place I visited unexpectedly. Dining area crowded. A resident said care was good, food okay. Not cozy like others.

"Felt Cramped and Less Welcoming Than Other Facilities"
I dropped by this assisted living place without an appointment. I only saw the ground level and wasn't very impressed with the building itself. Particularly, the dining room felt too crowded around 5:30 pm. I had a chat with a temporary resident who seemed satisfied with the care and said the food was alright. But comparing it to other places I saw later, I didn't think it felt as warm or welcoming.

"Facility feels old and a bit gloomy inside"
The facility is rather aged and appears kinda dim inside.

"Secure Doors Needed"
The building looked nice and was clean. But, no locks on doors made us say no.

"Residential Feeling, Not Busy Assisted Living"
This place gives off more of a residential vibe rather than an active assisted living facility. It reminds me of the traditional nursing homes of the past. The entire place is a bit older and not much going on, it's really quiet. The person who showed us around was very nice. But, not all the staff members were as welcoming, some seemed rather distant.

"Informative review: Assisted living facility amenities and considerations"
She shared lots of helpful info. Rooms vary from 11x11 excluding bathroom/closet for $2790 to larger rooms for $3500. There are 38 rooms available, and the cost includes amenities. Temporary rentals are also available at $100 a day. Unfortunately, they don't accept Medicaid, but they do have hospice options. They don't offer skilled care but do provide respectful care including laundry, meals, bedding, and room cleaning (once a week). However, some residents find the food quality questionable and note that dining room chairs have arms.
