"Availability Issue"
I visited Rock Creek Senior Living while looking for a place for my loved one. It’s nicer and more modern than other places I saw, but pricier. Unfortunately, they were full during my visit, so I kept searching. .

"Nice place, but location too far"
Rock Creek was nice. We liked it a lot, but the location was too far for me.

Certainly! Here's a revised version of the review in 8th-grade level American English: "I'm not sure what's included in the room charge because the 'care fee' is way too high once they have your loved one in their facility. The current care fee is going up by a whopping 296%. Who can afford such a huge increase? Arrow Senior Living Management seems more focused on profits than on caring for the residents. Their point system is messed up, and unfortunately, it's legal for them to do it. There's no limit to how much they can charge. Assessments happen every 3 months, so keep an eye on your invoices—they might rise for things that should already be covered in the room rates, which are over a month." And here's the summarized headline: **[[Outrageous Care Fees at Arrow Senior Living]]**.

"Friendly staff, poor communication from executives"
Many of the staff are friendly and caring. However, the executive team is hard to deal with, and communication is poor with slow response times.

"Mixed Experience with Rock Creek Senior Living"
My loved one isn't happy here, but he wouldn't be anywhere. He doesn't join activities or eat much beyond lunch, despite offerings. Staff turnover causes inconsistencies, but efforts are visible. Medical care is prompt, but promised doctor visits are delayed. The location is scenic, and hospice collaboration is appreciated.

"Friendly Assisted Living Community"
This community is really nice. It’s easy for family to visit our loved one because it’s conveniently located. The people here are very friendly, and communication with the staff is good. My only concern was that I couldn’t find anyone on the overnight shift to update them about my loved one after a hospital visit. Overall, I’d recommend this community to others for their loved ones.

We liked the place, but promises weren't kept. Disappointing care.

"Disappointing Experience at Journey Senior Living"
Before Rock Creek bought Journey Senior Living, I was happy. But now, I've decided to leave and gave them a 30-day notice. Their communication isn't good. I'm not sure about the meals they serve, and they keep raising the prices every month. During this past winter, they didn't clean the rooms weekly. If you want to know about activities, you have to ask because they don't provide what they promise. I wish my loved one could have better care. However, they did a good job keeping everyone safe from Covid.

"Impressive Care in Smaller Community with Personal Touch and Garden"
I thought my mom needed memory care. What impressed me most about Journey was its smaller size. I liked the large rooms with private bathrooms. You really get to know the caring staff. The community is laid out around a beautiful garden. They have very few staff changes. During my mom's stroke in Covid-19, the nurse was kind and let me visit. The only downside was that the marketing director misled me about long-term stay.
