"Reliable Care and Seamless Transitions at Pinicon Place"
My mom started in their assisted living, and the staff were great at finding ways to help her. But she needed more care, so they moved her to memory care. The staff there were helpful and made moving apartments easy for me. The memory care area is small, but the staff are attentive. They communicate quickly by email. The care is good, and they keep track of my mom's needs patiently. We like the location. We picked this place because they accept Medicaid after two years, so my mom won't have to move again. The food is basic, but they try to give my mom choices.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Food Quality and Management"
My mom's been at Pin. Place for about 3 years. The workers are nice but the bosses are rude and not helpful. They keep switching cooks. Right now, the food is terrible - mostly carbs, hardly any meat, rarely any veggies, and they never serve anything raw. They consider canned peaches a salad. I believe Enlivant could improve a lot.

"Mixed experience at memory care unit; great caregivers, management lacking."
We stay in the memory care part, which is locked. I had to leave because one of the staff brought their boyfriend in, and I asked him to go out of my wife's place. He shouldn't be there if he doesn't have family around. The caregivers are really good and the place is kept clean. They encourage my wife to join in the activities every day. But, I'm not too impressed with the management.

"Clean, Friendly, and Loved by Residents"
My mom lived happily at Pinicon Place for over seven years. The staff were always nice and respectful, and Mom considered many of them good friends. I also got a lot of help from Administrators [removed] and [removed], especially when Mom got sicker in her last months. Mom loved chatting with other residents and enjoyed doing crafts, exercising, playing Bingo, and even Hallway Bowling. She always laughed about knocking down the pins! During Mom's last two years at Pinicon Place, they did a lot of renovations like new floors, fixing the roof, new carpet, redoing the dining room, and updating the furniture. Compared to other places I checked, I always thought Pinicon Place was much cleaner, and I felt welcome whenever I visited. If a parent can't live at home anymore, like my mom, I would definitely suggest looking at Pinicon Place.

"Mixed experience with care quality and activities at Pinicon Place."
I think my mom got good care overall, but it wasn't always consistent. She didn't like some weekend and evening staff. When I visited during the day, everyone was nice and helpful. There were fun activities for active residents, but fewer choices for those needing help, like for Bingo. Mom wasn't always motivated to join in. Regular Sunday services could have helped. The nursing staff addressed medical concerns when I told them. I'm grateful Pinicon Place kept mom until the end, with hospice's help. Her final fall made me question staff attention, but overall, it was a good place. I appreciate their support for our family.
