"Disappointing Assisted Living Tour"
Our family visited Ramsey Village in person, and unfortunately, it was not a positive experience. The manager gave me incorrect pricing information for independent living. Despite my repeated questions, she insisted it was accurate. However, upon further discussion, we discovered that wasn't the case. The facility appeared outdated and lacked any appealing features. The tour was brief, and our inquiries went unanswered.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"
The good things are that he enjoys the somewhat wooded location. Animals like deer, rabbits, and squirrels visit. He appreciates the big trees. The neighborhood near Drake University can get busy with traffic. His apartment is spacious. The main issue he faces is the room temperature—it's either too hot or too cold, which is frustrating. Overall, though, he's mostly satisfied.

"Aging Facility Feels More Like Institution Than Home"
This place is okay, but it's pretty old. It feels more like a place where people live together instead of a cozy home.

"Expensive with high-end finishes, mixed room renovations in nice setting"
This place looked nice. The outside and main areas are newly updated, but not all rooms are. The ones that are renovated have luxurious touches like marble countertops in the kitchenette. Rooms are small, and this is one of the priciest options.

"Great Care After a Rough Start"
My husband stayed at Ramsey Village for a short time, and they took really good care of him. At first, it was tough because they asked him about his medications and other stuff but didn't ask me. After a week, things got better and they started talking to me too. They worked really hard to make him comfortable. The food was good, and I liked that they got him into physical therapy while he was there.

"Friendly Assisted Living with Clean Facilities"
This place is really nice. They only have 10 apartments, but you can stay here even if your health changes. The staff and residents are super friendly. The only downside is that there’s no covered parking for cars, but it’s very clean, and I liked the facility.

"Better Than Others: Ramsey Village Review"
I liked the staff at Ramsey Village—they were professional. The place is clean, safe, and clients are treated well. Adding music or TV in the dining areas would be nice. Overall, better than other Des Moines options.

"Disappointed with Room Size and Cleanliness During Renovations"
We checked out this place. The rooms were pretty small, the building was hard to get around, and it wasn’t very clean. I get that they’re fixing the place up, so maybe that’s why it’s like this right now.
