"Good Staff, Some Turnover, Improving Now"
The staff is good. They come and go, but it seems better right now.

"Swan Place: Caring, communicative, but pricey"
Swan Place was very helpful and caring in getting my dad into their facility in an emergency during the height of Covid. They made the transition easy, and he adapted well. The people are caring and compassionate, and they communicate well with the family. We appreciate the extras like rides to the doctors. They have a lot of activities. The rooms and the entire facility are very nice. The only thing we don't understand are the annual price increases, which seem too high. Otherwise, we are very happy with Swan Place overall. We would recommend it to anyone needing to help their elderly loved ones transition to a facility.

"Exceptional care and support at Swan Place"
Our time with Swan Place was amazing. They quickly assessed him while he was in the hospital, planned his move, and did everything to meet his needs. I just wish Dad could have stayed longer, but his health got worse, and he passed away.

"Mixed Feelings about Facility, Great Layout and Location, Some Concerns"
Really like how the facility is laid out and its location. However, there are a few concerns. I know it has changed management frequently. The rooms are smaller than Sunnybrook's, and the residents weren't happy with the food. We were warmly greeted. Our guide was excellent at answering our questions, but she didn't seem as interested in all the clients compared to the marketing representative at Sunnybrook, who actually teared up when mentioning a lost client the day before.

"Review of Swan Place - Carroll, IA"
Small things add up at Swan Place – like checking blood pressure before taking meds and sticking to regular shower times. Meeting new faces can be confusing, but overall, I’m pleased with my home.

"Clean, Friendly, but Food Needs Improvement"
Swan Place is clean and well taken care of. There are two nice courtyards to enjoy outside. There are different activities to do. However, the food isn't great but might be getting better. The staff is friendly and helpful.

"Mixed Feelings but Overall Enjoyable Experience"
The staff has changed a lot lately, which is a bit confusing. I hope it improves things. The food is decent sometimes, but not always. I enjoy living here, especially because the remaining staff members are wonderful. I wish there were more activities, with more options. I really enjoy the van rides and picnics.
