My loved one lives at The Views of Cedar Rapids, and overall it's been good. The activities are great, and the staff are really nice and care about the residents. But, the meals should be more balanced. Overall, it's a good place to live.

"Caring Staff Makes Transition Easier"
Meadowview has been really good to deal with. We've noticed a lot of changes in the staff, but we like how enthusiastic the new people are. They're really trying to improve our experience and they listen to what we have to say. The changeover has been hard, but the staff has been very supportive.

We're happy so far. We're still figuring out some parts of the care, but the staff has been helpful and caring. They offer activities, though not all of them interest our family member. The facility is well-kept. They recently fixed the soda fountain, renovated several areas, including the front, and added new tile and paint in the entryway. They're also updating the garden area.

"New but overpriced promising start with good tour and follow-up."
This new place was too expensive. Since it was new, it wasn't fully ready yet. But they seemed eager to get started and show us around. They gave us a great tour and followed up well.

This place is pretty good for folks with family members needing memory care. The people in charge are really working to make sure everyone's needs are taken care of. They have things like sing-alongs, group activities, movies, and more for residents to enjoy.

The assisted living place needs more activities for my loved one. They have lots of musical things, but she doesn't like music. It's good they have a big area to walk in. I would tell others to check it out if they're searching.

"Not Quite Independent Living: Disappointing Atmosphere for Seniors"
When we first stepped into the place, it felt more like a care center than a place for seniors who need some help but still want independence. My mother-in-law wouldn't feel comfortable living here.

"Totally Satisfied with MeadowView's Care"
Choosing to move my husband into a place for people with memory problems was the toughest choice I've ever made. But it was needed. I couldn't have picked a happier, more helpful, or friendlier place. I see him every day, and the workers are just as nice and respectful to me as they are to everyone who lives there. If you need a place for someone you love, really think about MeadowView.
