"Happy Friend in Good Facility"
When I visited my friend, he really liked the place. It seems perfect for him, and we were happy. He enjoys being part of the community, and we're thankful for A Place For Mom's help. He joins in everything there. Overall, it's been a great experience for him. However, we wish we had more info during the tour. Also, they didn't tell us about the pet fee.

"Great Place for Dad Before He Got Sick!"
Before my dad got sick, we really liked this place. The people who worked there were nice and they helped a lot. Dad liked talking to other people who lived there and the workers too. He seemed to enjoy the food. The place was very clean and they kept it in good shape.

"Helpful staff, great dining, and enjoyable amenities!"
My mother recently moved into this community, and so far, everything is going well for her. The staff are very helpful and keep in good touch with me about how she’s doing and answer any questions I have. She enjoys getting her hair done and the dining room experience. Overall, we are very happy and would recommend it to anyone.

"Top-notch care for my mom - highly recommend!"
My mom just moved to this place, and I'm happy with how everything's going. The people who work here are really good at their jobs, and I trust them to take care of her. I'd definitely tell others to check it out!

"A Pleasant Community"
Grace Assisted Living had friendly people, but no view apartments during our tour. I wished they had a more open space.

"Not the best, but folks are nice"
My relatives checked out this place because I'd heard warnings about it not being too pleasant. They seemed to agree that it didn't look very active or inviting. It's an old, gloomy looking place. But they did say the folks they met were friendly.

"Caring Staff!"
The people who work here are super nice to my dad. They always make sure he's okay and happy in his new home. He likes the things they do for fun and hanging out with the other folks. Only thing he didn't like was the food could be better.

"Room Odor Concerns but Overall Satisfactory Experience"
I noticed a smell in my dad's room at Grace Assisted Living Senior Community. The staff tries to manage it, but I wish they'd clean his raised toilet seat more often. Despite this, the facility is generally clean, and they address issues promptly. Compared to others, it's reasonably priced. Overall, I'm content, but improvements are needed.

"Negligent Assisted Living Facility Misplaces Elder's Necessities"
My 93-year-old wheelchair-bound mother has stayed here for the past seven months. Despite promising to take care of her glasses and dentures, the staff has repeatedly lost them, even after I provided a picture to help identify them. They suggested an alarm to prevent her from falling, but it's regularly misplaced or switched off. They only change her adult diapers twice daily, resulting in a painful rash. Recently, she was hospitalized for pneumonia and required oxygen. Though the orders came through before noon on a Friday, they assured me they had it covered. However, when I arrived at 7:30 PM, there was no oxygen. I had to scramble to arrange oxygen myself until midnight or else she would have been without it for days, potentially landing her back in the hospital. Repeated pleas to the staff for help went unheeded. If you treasure your elderly loved ones, do not consider this facility.

"Clean and Friendly Assisted Living Community"
I'm happy with it. My loved one just started, so I can't give a star rating yet, but it's good! I'd suggest it to others too. It's very clean, smells nice, and everyone is friendly.

"Big Assisted Living with Activities, But Poor Appointment Management"
This place is pretty big and has something going on every day, like outings and games. We even set up a time for a visit and they called to confirm, but when we showed up, nobody seemed to know we were coming. It felt like we were bothering them. I wasn't too happy about that.

"Exceptionally Friendly Staff"
The food and activities could improve, but the staff is super friendly and made us feel welcome. The place is also really nice and clean.

"Better Care Needed on Weekends"
I think they need to do better with bathing and taking care of the residents. Sometimes, the residents are scared to ask for what they need. They have enough staff during the week, but not on weekends.

"High Cost and Cliques Mar Otherwise Okay Assisted Living Facility"
I believe this assisted living facility generally functions okay, but it definitely has its issues. There are just too many cliques and you constantly hear young girls in the hallway gossiping unprofessionally about boyfriends, co-workers, and bosses. Additionally, I noticed there are not enough tech staff at all times there should not be only one or two techs handling all residents, that's simply unacceptable. I definitely think they could improve their service, especially considering the high costs per month. However, I'm not sure if all facilities are like this, as my family is new to this kind of thing.

"Older Crowd"
My mom is in her 80s, and when we visited this community, everyone seemed older. We knew she wouldn't want to stay here with everyone using wheelchairs or walkers. The Grace in Boise had a younger, more active crowd, which we thought would be better for our mom.

"Friendly Staff But Lackluster Services"
I checked out this place and Grace in Boise. They were pretty similar to my eyes: super friendly folks but their services lacked a bit. It was kind of hard to tell them apart.

"We're overall pleased with Grace"
They take good care of people there, but they don't have enough staff at night and on weekends. It seems like that's a common issue everywhere. They're short on medical technicians, and my mom had trouble getting help when my dad called her. There's only one person for every 60 patients. The activities seem okay, but my dad isn't really into them. Maybe it's a guy thing? Still, they're nice activities. My dad isn't a fan of the place, but I guess he wouldn't be happy anywhere. He's at that age where he wants to be home but can't. Overall, I feel comfortable with the care, even though the med tech to patient ratio is high. One big plus is that they can provide diabetic care for my father, which not many places do.
