"Liked Honeysuckle, Chose Another for Better Rooms"
I visited Honeysuckle Senior Living and it was my top pick at first. I was happy to see that it wasn’t too big. But in the end, we picked a different place because it had nicer rooms that were more comfortable for people coming to visit.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
Mom stayed there from 2019 to 2020, and the food was really bad. When I visited her room for the first time, it smelled like poop. On a positive note, the staff seemed kind and genuine.

"Nurse Ignores Prescribed Medicine, Reflects Poor Care at Honeysuckle"
The nurse at Honeysuckle Assisted Living wouldn't give my relative the meds her doctor specifically ordered for her continuous use. These were meant to help prevent another health crisis. After the hospital discharge, we spent a lot of time with the pharmacy assistant learning about all her necessary medications. But once we got home, the nurse decided she didn't need them. There were too many times when the staff just wasn't paying enough attention and didn't seem to care. It was an incredibly frustrating experience.

"Budget-Friendly Assisted Living with Caring Staff"
A lovely community with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Rates were higher than our chosen place. We need to budget wisely as Mom's care increases.

"Affordable alternative lacking, but staff and community commendable."
This place was really nice, and the people who worked there were super friendly and knew a lot. But it was more expensive than where we decided to go. Since my mom's needs will probably go up over time, we had to pick a place that fit our budget better.

"Very organized (home) for Seniors"
Twenty-year facility, clean, organized for Seniors. Directors helpful, staffing concern addressed.

"Consider Before Choosing"
I visited this place. I didn't really like the surroundings or the feel of this place. The people who work there were kind and answered all my questions. However, the living spaces at this place have to be shared. I would suggest families to check out this place when looking for care for a loved one.

"Insufficient Staff and Negligence at Assisted Living Facility"
This place is seriously short-staffed compared to the number of residents. The nurses seem either unskilled or slack, not providing the necessary care. This negligence often leads to illness or even injuries among the residents, sometimes beyond repair.

"Negligent Nursing Fails to Provide Adequate Care"
This place has way too few staff for the number of people living here. The nurse doesn't do their job well, and it's not clear if it's because they aren't good at their job or they just don't want to work. They aren't giving the proper care that is needed, which is getting people sick or hurt. For some people, the situation has gotten too bad to be corrected.

"Not Enough Staff and Safety Issues"
This place has fancy administrators, but it's seriously short-staffed. Not recommended for people with dementia. My mom had a medication mistake here, and they don't pay attention to health changes. Safety is lax too. Nice rooms, but care falls short.

"Proceed with Caution: Appearances Deceive at This Assisted Living Facility"
This place is full of bosses that have offices right by the main area where you can see them. They seem important and they're nice enough when they're trying to sell you on this place. But - there's not enough staff here. I really wouldn't suggest this place for anyone who has any level of memory loss, because it's just too big and lonely, and there are nowhere near enough staff. My mom was given the wrong medication here and their "nurse" didn't even notice, which resulted in a bunch of trips to the emergency room. They also didn't keep an eye out for changes in her health - she ended up with really bad bladder infections and they didn't notice or do anything about it, even when we asked them to test her pee. They've got a "doctor" here who never seems to be around to talk to family members and I think is just here so they won't get sued. I couldn't get anyone in charge to tell me anything about how they were looking after my mom. They don't seem to have any system for matching up the "points" they charge with the care they provide. They're not great with safety either - I once saw a man with memory loss walk right out the front door and down the street. There wasn't a single staff member near the door to stop him. Their doors are often left open late at night with no one in sight, and the staff are usually busy in residents' rooms - anyone could have easily walked in from the street. The only good thing is that they do have the biggest rooms I've seen at any of these places. It's a shame they can't give better care for the money they charge.

"Friendly Staff, Quiet Atmosphere"
The HoneySuckle Place wasn't quite what we had in mind. It felt pretty quiet, with not much happening. However, the staff was super friendly and patiently answered all my questions during the tour.

"Poor Management and Care at Assisted Living Facility"
The place isn't great at giving back owed money. When was running things, it was better. My mom's care got worse, and they just can't take care of her. They don't have enough staff for all the residents.

"Frustrated with Facility's Poor Performance and Staff Shortage"
This place simply falls short in giving back owed money. When a different team managed it under [Removed], things were way better. My mom's degree of care decreased and they just couldn't handle her needs. They don't have enough staff for all the people who live there.

"Muddled Billing at Sylvan House, Mom Likes Entertainment"
The House is messing up their billing process. There's a big problem with the way they communicate between billing and the rest of the place. One good thing is they have live shows and my mom really likes those.
