"Limited support for active residents, confusing care responsibilities."

This place is okay if your loved one isn't active. Mom didn't fit well.

"Disappointing Care at Alzheimer's Unit; Overpriced and Underwhelming"

This assisted living center's Alzheimer's and Memory Care Unit is so disappointing. They make it seem like your family member will have access to a courtyard, entertainment, activities, and three daily meals. But, that's far from the truth. Instead, our loved one ended up heavily drugged, to the point where we had to take them to the ER. They were locked out of the courtyard and didn't get any kind of fun activities or entertainment. And the worst part? They asked for more money in just a week or two, without improving the quality of care. If you care about your family, don't send them here.

"Mixed Experience at Paramount Parks Assisted Living"

The Paramount Parks community seemed incredible for our loved one, but it fell short. Caregivers sometimes got agitated when residents needed help. The assisted living activities were good, but memory care residents were rarely included.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"

I mostly liked it, but not for my mom. The rooms seemed worn out, like a rental property with layers of paint. Not dirty, just rundown. Still worth a visit.

"Compact and Dim Assisted Living Space"

The living area felt cramped and not very bright.

"Convenient Layout, Limited Availability, Distant Location"

This place has 46 apartments in 4 hallways. The assisted living is on the main floor, and memory care is downstairs. They have a nurse practitioner, [name removed], on Tuesdays. They offer 3 levels of care. I liked how open it felt when I walked in. The dining room, activity rooms, hair salon, and stuff like that are all close together, which makes it easy for the people who live there to find things. Most of the people who live there are between 80 and 90 years old. They say they'll respond in 3 to 5 minutes, and if someone pushes their call button, they announce over a loudspeaker who pushed it and where they are in the room. They didn't have any studio apartments available, but they offered me a one-bedroom for the price of a studio. I only saw the one-bedroom, but it was big enough for me. They had all the same stuff as other places like this. But for me, it's too far north for my family and friends to come visit often. And it's independently owned.

"Mixed Experience at Paramount Parks Assisted Living"

My grandma, in her late 90s, enjoys Paramount Parks after 7 months. The amenities include delicious meals, friendly staff, and great entertainment. Unfortunately, the elevator in her wing has been out of order, and her room isn’t always clean. I recommend Paramount Parks but insist on weekly room cleaning.

"I toured this community"

I visited this place for a tour, and it was clean and pleasant. The staff answered all my questions, and I liked the people here. The dining room was nice, and the food smelled good. However, it had a darker atmosphere and resembled a nursing home. I suggest families tour multiple places before deciding.

"Mom's Happy Place"

My mom loves this place and we're happy too. All the staff are friendly and great with her. We chose it because it's close and she stayed here before. The place feels cozy, like home. There's a big room for gatherings with a fireplace and a huge TV. They have fun stuff like bingo and movies, and they take them shopping every week. I'd tell other families to check it out.

"Facility Feels Comfortable and Homey"

My mom really likes this place, and our family is very happy. The staff members are super friendly and great with my mom. We picked this community because it's convenient, and we've had her in respite care here before. The community itself is cozy and feels like home. They have a nice gathering room with a fireplace and a big TV for movies. Plus, they offer fun activities like bingo and weekly shopping trips. I'd recommend this facility to other families.

"Good experience during a brief stay."

My mom stayed here briefly before she passed away. While she was there, I asked for a bit more hands-on assistance. There were also some problems with her medicine. But when I raised my concerns, they responded quickly and fixed the issues. Overall, it was a positive experience. After my mom passed, they were understanding and supportive. A few staff members were awesome! Considering the short time my mom spent here, I'd recommend Paramount Parks.

"Clean, caring, and helpful staff"

The place is clean, neat, and safe, with well-sized rooms that you can decorate however you like. The staff is caring, friendly, and knows what they're doing. We love them, and my mother does too. They’re patient with her and help her do things I can’t manage on my own. Paramount has also arranged for Home Health Care to support my mom. They’ve sent a nurse, a physical therapist, and a speech therapist, which we’re very grateful for. The onsite nurse has already met with us twice to talk about my mother’s care we’ve only been here for 3 weeks. So far, we’re very happy with our choice of Paramount Parks.

"Great place with a family-like feel and good activities"

The care my parents receive is kind, gentle, loving, and responsible. The dining room experience is fairly positive, although I think my parents would prefer more flexibility in where they sit. The assigned table partners don’t always work out. We give a slightly lower rating because the facility often uses contract workers when regular staff is down. These workers sometimes lack full training, and some care needs might be missed. But overall, this facility is the best we found in Boise. It’s smaller than most, creating a family-like relationship with the staff. They offer great activities, including in-house events and day trips, that are motivating, engaging, and entertaining. The administrative staff is very open and welcoming, and while there have been changes in the kitchen staff, things are improving.

"Unhappy with Care and Billing at Paramount Parks"

My mom's experience at Paramount Parks wasn't good. Around two weeks in, Mom had to be admitted to the hospital. When that happened, they said she couldn't return. They just weren't up to the task of looking after her. I've also been having some problems with their billing department. My advice? You'd do well to check the qualifications of the staff before deciding to move a loved one into this community.

"Homelike Assisted Living with Attentive Staff"

Paramount Parks in Eagle is a nice and helpful assisted living facility. The staff is kind and attentive to residents, ensuring timely medication administration. The food variety is good, and the facility feels clean and homelike. Regular activities cater to residents' preferences. Although it's our first experience, my parents are happy, safe, and well cared for.

"Shortstaffed and Hidden Costs at Assisted Living Facility"

They didn't have as many staff members as they promised us. Plus, they didn't mention extra costs during the introduction meeting.

"Multiple Issues Noted, Including High Staff Turnover"

My mom has had instances where her meds were not available in this facility, and this problem has happened more than once. This place often seems short-staffed for the number of people living there, and that gets worse in the evenings. The staff tries to be helpful but the high staff turnover is a concern.

"Exceptionally Helpful Staff"

At Paramount Parks at Eagle, the staff is super helpful. Whenever I visit, they listen to what I have to say. The dementia residents stay downstairs, but it's a bit dark there, which Mom finds challenging. I hope they can improve the lighting. The management and care are top-notch, and the facility is always peaceful. The main lobby is fantastic, and they made a difficult transition easy. It's a classy place with excellent quality of care.

"Top-Notch Caregivers Make This Assisted Living Stand Out"

I liked this place a lot. They took really good care of my father-in-law. The people who worked downstairs were super helpful. All of them were awesome. Everyone who works there is super friendly and helpful. I think it's a really great place. Everything has been going really well. My father-in-law feels comfortable here. I would definitely recommend it.

"Close to Home, Adequate Care"

It was okay. My loved one stayed here for a few years. We left because she needed more care than they could offer. I did like how close it was; the location was good.

"Overall Positive Experience at Assisted Living Facility"

It's been nice. The place stays clean, staff's friendly. No hidden fees. Once they messed up, we missed a doctor's visit. That was annoying. They enjoy food, but it's not great. Still, it's a good place. They help with memory care.

"Needs Improvement: Less Than Stellar Activity Planning & Housekeeping"

This is an okay place, but it certainly could be better. They need to step up their game with the activities. The people in charge act as if none of the folks living here want to try new things. But the truth is, everyone loves getting together to sing and have fun. Yet, they do the same old thing every day. This especially true in the memory care section where they hardly do any of the stuff they plan. Plus, there have been problems with cleaning and they can't seem to keep their workers. All in all, it hasn't been great. Considering how expensive it is, we expected more. At least they're trying to get better. So, they deserve kudos for that.
