"Welcoming Environment and Friendly Staff Highlight Truewood Assisted Living Review"
The best parts of Truewood that we noticed were the way everything was set up and how nice the staff was. The people in charge were difficult to deal with, though. Truewood was memorable because it was welcoming, clean, and the staff was friendly.

They don't offer cheaper meals, and it's hard to reach management. The new maintenance staff is still learning. I'd recommend with reservations.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Promised Care"
The people who worked there kept asking me or my sister to come help with my mom, even though we're paying them to take care of her. They kept the common areas clean, but they never washed my mom's linens or towels like they said they would. Some of the staff were nice to my mom, but sometimes they couldn't help when there were problems like leaks in her room. The people in charge were really disorganized and bad at communicating. They told us one thing and then said the opposite later. Overall, the care wasn't very good because they didn't keep things clean and kept asking us for help.

We visited Truewood by Merrill Boise when looking for a place for our family member. This place was alright. It seemed clean and the atmosphere was fine. However, it has two floors, which wouldn't be good for our loved one.

"Mixed Feelings on Assisted Living Facility"
The place doesn’t tell you if your family member has problems. If they call an ambulance, they don’t let you know. The workers get upset with the people living there and don’t talk to them or leave them out until they’re not upset anymore. It would be good if they talked to us more. The building is really nice and they have lots of good stuff there. The part of the building for people with memory problems is great, and the person in charge of fun activities is awesome. Everyone in that part really likes her because she takes good care of them.

It's a really good place for your parents to live. They have been really good about fixing things that broke. One thing they could do better is the rent bill. My parents got charged too much and are still trying to fix it.

"High Praise for Truewood by Merrill Boise"
The staff at Truewood by Merrill Boise are amazing—patient, kind, and caring. The facility is always clean and welcoming. They keep us informed about any issues and update us during visits. Meals are good. I highly recommend this facility and staff. Over 11 months, our parent's transition was positive—from Independent Living to mom in Memory Care, and dad in Hospice until his passing.

"Thriving at Truewood!"
Mom chose Truewood over a fancier, pricier option. Even with dementia, she’s thriving here. During our visit, she engaged with the friendly staff. At a bigger, more luxurious place, she felt overwhelmed. Since moving to Truewood, she’s well cared for by both the assistance staff and the general team. We’re very happy with Truewood.

"Friendly staff, personal care, but billing needs improvement"
Truewood is the best value for the money. The staff are very friendly and gave my mother-in-law personal care. The only things that could be better are the communication and the billing system, which is a bit confusing.

"Assisted Living Facility Offers Clean Community with Communication Improvements Needed"
This facility is among the cleanest and nicest communities we've seen. They've decorated it nicely for their residents. However, communication from the staff to families could improve. The billing department needs better communication internally and with families. Residents receive three meals daily plus snacks, with several choices available.
