I used to bring my husband here for day care, but as his condition worsened, I decided to keep him here full-time. The staff is amazing; they treat him so well. We can communicate easily, and they truly care about all the residents. They even encourage them to join in activities. Plus, the place is always clean and well-kept. It's the best choice for us!

"The Finance Department caused problems."
My mom lived here for almost two years. The care was fine, but the Finance Department was a mess. They took too much money from our bank account. Even after I asked them to fix it, they didn’t respond.

"Good Care, Bad Finance - Overcharges and No Refunds"
My mom lived in this care home for a year and eight months, until she died. I don't have any issues with the care she was given, but the money folks at the home are a real headache. At first, we used automatic payments from a bank account. But for months, they kept taking out more than we owed. After stopping that, I told them to put the extra money into my mom's bill. I also payed them half a year ahead of time to get a discount. Sadly, my mom died before that half year ended. For the last month, I've sent lots of emails and left phone messages, asking them to set our account straight and give back the money that belongs to my mom's stuff. Up until now, I haven't heard anything back.

"Inhumane Treatment at Assisted Living Facility"
After doing a bit of homework on several assisted living homes for my dad, I had the chance to check this place out. Right away, I could tell it wasn't going to work for us. During my visit, I saw a lady who was supposed to be entertaining the residents, but she was really harsh and gruff to them. I was worried about the idea that my dad would have to be around her five days every week, and I couldn't let that happen. Then, there was another woman who just sat in an office, watching everything through a massive glass window, treating these folks more like lab animals than people. When I asked if the owner of the place ever stopped by to check on how things were going, the person showing me around just laughed in my face! I truly hope the owner is aware of the mistreatment that's happening in their facility, because this is no way to treat anyone. I can only hope that the owner wakes up to the realities of what's happening inside their own business!

"Delighted Family Finds Aspen Creek Assisted Living Wonderful!"
After visiting Aspen Creek, I read the other opinions and maybe had higher expectations. Honestly, from what I saw, Aspen Creek was just full of positivity. I'm confused about why a previous reviewer had problems with a specific staff member, named Tina, because when we visited, she was doing a super job, having fun with the residents doing crafts. The place itself is really nice and has a homely vibe. Every single staff member was just amazing and very nice. The people who live there seem pleased and well taken care of. We also got to talk to some other families who had nothing but good things to say about the care and services at Aspen Creek. I'm delighted to share that not just my mom, but also my dad are now residents here, and they're loving it!

"Happy Parents at Thrilling Aspen Creek"
In contrast to other reviews, when we visited Aspen Creek, we had an amazing experience. I couldn't comprehend why a previous reviewer targeted a specific employee. We saw Tina leading the residents in a craft activity, and they seemed to be enjoying it immensely. The place is captivating and gives off a homely vibe. All the staff was outstanding and welcoming. The residents are satisfied and well attended to. We met a few other families who shared their contentment with the services provided by Aspen Creek. In conclusion, both my mom and dad are now residents and they are thrilled about it.

"Inadequate Staff and Poor Condition at Assisted Living Facility"
When I visited this place for my mom, the first thing I saw was a staff member, a lady in her middle age, overweight and dressed in crumpled clothes, asleep on the couch. This lady is actually paid to look after the folks who live at Aspen Creek. She was super grumpy when she woke up and wasn't nice at all. To top it off, she looked unwashed, making me think that the people staying there might not be looked after well either. A nurse showed us around, but she didn't seem confident at all, even though she claimed she'd been there since the place opened. Me and my husband felt like she just started working there. After speaking with these two, we decided this place wasn't right for my mom. If you're thinking about checking this place out, I would say don't bother, unless you want to disturb Tina from her nap-time on the couch.

"Shocking Experience at Senior Care Facility"
I visited this care center for my mom and was met with an unexpected sight - an unkept, overweight middle-aged woman, who was in fact an employee, dozing off on the sofa. When she woke up, she was all but friendly and had clearly neglected her personal hygiene, sparking fears about the care provided to the residents. We were shown around by a nurse who, despite claiming to have a long tenure, gave off the impression of a newbie. This encounter made it clear to my husband and I - this was not the right place for my mom. If you'd rather not waste your time, avoid disturbing this employee's couch nap with a visit.

"Overpriced Assisted Living Facility Provides Low Quality Care"
Can you believe this is the reward for my parents' lifelong hard work? I moved my mom into this facility a few weeks ago and I'm highly disappointed. Every time I visit, she's just slumped in her wheelchair in front of the TV. This one caregiver, she seems to always be there, but all she does is sit in a different room glued to her phone. And the food... it's like they were going to feed it to birds, then thought, "why not give it to my mom instead?" I'm certain I'm overpaying for this poor level of care for my mom. If I wanted such lackluster service I could have picked a cheaper place; this one's costing me nearly six grand.

"Looks Can Deceive When Choosing an Assisted Living Facility."
Is this the payoff for my parents' lifelong hard work? I shifted my mom to this facility just a few weeks back only to be left entirely dissatisfied. Most times when I visit, my mom is just idly sitting in her wheelchair glued to the television. There is an ever-present nursing assistant who does nothing but sit in the other room absorbed in her phone. As for the food, it's appalling; it seems like they were planning to feed birds and then thought of handing it over to my mom. It's outrageous that I'm shelling out a fortune to keep mom there. Had I wanted such dismal care, I could have considered a cheaper facility without spending nearly six thousand dollars.

"Wrecked Ship of Neglected Care"
I didn't want to give even one star to this mess of an assisted living facility, but had no option. It's a complete train wreck, seriously lacking in organization. The situation reminded me of a ship on a collision course with an iceberg. When I was working there, I felt like I was the only person who genuinely cared about our residents. The management, in a nutshell, is laughable. Their representative, Deb Kinder, is nothing more than an insincere, paycheck-collecting figurehead. I'd never suggest anyone to trust their loved ones in this dump. The neglectful care that residents got totally appalled me.
