"Positive Experience During Assisted Living Facility Tour"
Our family visited in person and the tour was good. We saw everything and talked to all the staff. It was not a bad experience at all.

"Friendly Staff and Personalized Care in Spacious Assisted Living Community"
We really like this place. Whenever we visit, the staff are friendly and engage well with residents. Despite its size, about 200+ people, they remember our loved one and me. It would be helpful if they offered an orientation or guidance for newcomers to understand the process of transitioning into the community.

"Great place, but too fancy for us"
This place was a bit more expensive than we wanted. The community looks really great, but it was fancier than we liked.

"Avoid Belmont Village: Poor COVID-19 Protocols and Unresponsive Management."
Stay Away from Belmont Village - Negligence and Poor Management!" Belmont Village is a nightmare! Even during the Covid outbreak, many of their staff members don't bother to wear masks. This makes no sense - as healthcare providers, they should be the first to realize how crucial masks are in preventing the virus from spreading. The administrators seem to only care about the people who are paying the bills each month. So if you're worried about your grandparent or parent but you're not the one footing the bill, don't hold your breath waiting for them to listen to you. It gets even scarier - they might even threaten to stop you from visiting if you start asking too many questions. I implore you to keep your loved one far away from this place if you want them to stay safe and comfortable!

"The tour guide was great!"
We visited Bellmont Village, but it cost $2,000 more per month than other places we considered. The lady who showed us around was friendly and knowledgeable. If it weren't for the price difference, choosing between this place and Sunrise Park would have been tougher.

"Great Tour of This Community"
My daughter and I were really impressed with our tour of this community. It was one of our favorite choices for my wife and her needs. The community looked fantastic, and everyone was very friendly to us. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any openings at the moment, and their rates were too expensive for our budget.

"Assisted Living Center Review"
Everything is great! The place is clean and nice. People are friendly and treat her well. They have lots of activities. We just need staff reminders for her activities. They're working on it. Also, the cleaning charge wasn't fully explained. They're working on that too. A Place For Mom helped us find this community.

"Returning resident thrilled with helpful staff at assisted living facility"
My grandpa's going back on Tuesday. The people there are great! They're really nice and helping him get settled in. I bet he'll be super happy there. It's his second time going, and he's looking forward to it.

"Top-Notch Assisted Living Facility Ensures Comfortable and Engaging Environment"
This place is really nice and looks like it's run well. When I visited, people were having lunch and seemed to be taken care of, and the staff paid a lot of attention. The food looked tasty. I liked that they helped the residents to the restroom and then took them to activities like group exercises and games. The rooms were cozy and had personal touches.

"Mom is Happy and Well-Cared For"
Belmont Village Glenview has a really nice homelike atmosphere. Most of the time, they are very good at meeting all our needs and requests. However, there have been a few times when the staff didn't communicate well with each other. Overall, mom seems happy there.

"Great Place for Senior Care"
I toured this place when I was looking for care options for a loved one. I thought it looked really nice overall. It didn't work out for us because of the location and price, but I would still recommend checking it out if you are looking for senior care in the area!

"A Great Choice for My Mom’s Care at Belmont Village"
I moved my mother from Portland, Oregon to Chicago to be closer to me just over a year ago. Taking care of her from so far away wasn’t working out. My mom was a strong, independent woman who had lived in her house with 10 acres for over 50 years. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s about 4 years ago. Her biggest wish was to stay in her home as long as possible, but she had become very negative and resistant to any help or changes. Deciding to move her was a big step, but it turned out to be a great decision. The move to Belmont Village was much better than we expected. My mom seemed to feel safer and more secure. Although she missed her home and kept asking when she could go back, she also seemed more content and relaxed than she had in a long time. My mom has been at Belmont Village for just over a year now, and I’m still extremely pleased with the care she receives. The staff are all very caring, communicative, and helpful. From the receptionist to the nurses, and the aides, everyone works together to support the residents. I visit my mom at least twice a week at different times of the day, and I always see a well-run facility with dedicated staff. The consistent care makes a big difference. The facility is large enough to function well but small enough to provide personal care. I couldn’t be happier with my mom’s care at Belmont Village.

"Wonderful Staff and Great Food, Some Building Issues"
The staff here is really friendly and helpful. The food is excellent, and they have a restaurant-style menu. The servers are very kind, even though they don't get tips. They always greet me when I arrive and know my mother's name. The only thing that worries me are the occasional mechanical problems with the building, but they fix them quickly. We liked that the place is smaller.

"Safe and Trustworthy Assisted Living with Engaging Activities"
We had some problems when we first came here, but now we like it a lot. At the beginning, a little money went missing from our loved one's room, and it took a long time for someone to come when she needed help. That made us worried about how good the care was here. But they fixed everything and showed us that they're a safe and trustworthy place. They even have a group called the Circle of Friends that makes sure people with memory problems do fun activities every day.

"Highly Impressed with Assisted Living Facility"
This place does a really good job overall. I'd give them high scores for everything. One thing I really like is how they take care of people with memory issues. They let them stay in the same room as their needs change. Also, it's great how the staff make sure everyone goes to meals and activities.

"A Wonderful Home for Dad"
My dad has had Alzheimer's for several years, but he was able to stay at home, mostly taking care of himself with my mom's help. After he fell, we had to make quick decisions about his care. We found Belmont Village in Glenview through Aplaceformom.com. We are very impressed with the facility and the staff. The place is bright, cheerful, clean, and comfortable. The staff is professional, friendly, and caring. Dad seems comfortable and well cared for. We are very happy with our decision to move him to Belmont Village.

"Would Choose Belmont Village Again!"
I’m really happy with the care and cleanliness at this place. The food is amazing! The only thing is, you still need to keep an eye on things. Sometimes little issues come up, like they were supposed to change a caregiver but didn’t, so you have to follow up. Overall, I’m very pleased with how she settled in. She was really against going at first, but now she seems content, which is amazing. They’re great overall, I’d give them a 4.99. You just have to stay vigilant, like with a child. But honestly, I couldn’t be happier. If I had to move her, I’d look for another Belmont Village community.

"Really Liked the Levels in Memory Care, But They Need More Staff"
My sister and I picked Belmont because they have different levels of memory care. One level is for high-functioning residents, and levels 2, 3, and 4 are like a ‘neighborhood.’ During our tours, they said there’d always be a nurse on duty, which sounded good. But Mom has wandered a few times, and we wonder why they don’t have more staff to catch her. We thought there’d be more people around to prevent wandering, but they suggested hiring another person. The facility is great overall, with wonderful programs that keep residents engaged. They do use more medication, though. If I were in charge, I’d want more friends for Mom, especially since they promote a circle of friends.

"Bright and Airy with a Warm, Inviting Atmosphere"
This place is very bright and airy with a warm, welcoming feel. There are lots of activities and a good number of staff for the residents. I liked how the "PALS" were not in the way but always there to help the residents who needed it. The Director had a lot of information and was really thorough in explaining and showing me everything about the facility.

"Great Leader, Nice Facility, but Feels Like a Nursing Home"
The boss was a really good leader. The place was nice, but it reminded me of a nursing home. I didn't really like how the rooms were arranged.
