"Bickford Rep Prioritizes Money Over Mom's Care"
We had to wait around ten minutes just to get inside. The person we spoke to seemed more focused on me giving them money for an apartment, rather than caring about what my Mom needs. I'm definitely crossing Bickford off my list.

"Great Atmosphere and Caring Staff"
I really like the cozy, family-like atmosphere at this smaller assisted living facility. The staff works hard, even though they're a bit short-staffed. The activities are great, but my dad isn't a fan. It'd be nice to have more male-oriented options. The activities director is amazing, and they go out for lunch once a week. My dad's apartment is just the right size and accessible. Overall, we're big fans of Bickford.

"Cozy and Home-Like Assisted Living Facility Review"
The place was nice. It cost a bit more and was a little smaller, but it felt more like home. We liked that it had a cozy, smaller feel.

"Pleased Overall, Staffing Challenges on Weekends"
We're mostly happy with the place. The only small problem is that on weekends, they don't have as many workers, so we have to wait longer for help. I get that it's hard to find staff these days because of the sickness that's been going around. So, it's probably better for folks who can move around easily on their own. Also, on weekends, they don't really plan any fun stuff to do except for eating times. But from Monday to Friday, there's lots of cool activities. They make sure everyone gets a chance to hang out with others. They don't let anyone just stay in their room all day. They really try to get people to join in as much as they want to. Plus, they keep the building super clean and looking great. It's not very old and it's set up really nicely.

"Mixed Feelings on Assisted Living Facility"
This place is nice. The rooms are really pretty. The special part for people with Alzheimer’s is also nice, but it’s very quiet because there are only 4 people there. I am moving my mom out of a place that doesn’t have many people living there and no activities at all. I’m not sure if I want to risk putting her in another place that also doesn’t have many people living there and enough staff.

"Lacking in Care: Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
We just moved my mom from here. We really like the CNA’s and the staff. But the Bickford corporate staffing and practices don’t seem to prioritize the best care for the residents. They focus more on saving money than on taking care of people. We hope for better in the future.

"Understaffed and Disappointing Management Ruin Otherwise Nice Facility"
My grandma lives here. I gave 2 stars because the workers are great. But the bosses need to change things. Many workers leave, so the ones who stay have to do extra jobs like cooking, cleaning, and laundry. We wash grandma’s clothes at home because we can’t trust them to do it here. Their washing machines often break and stay broken for a long time. Good workers leave because they have too much to do. It’s hard for residents with memory loss because they get used to someone and then they leave. It makes everyone stressed. Sometimes residents leave without anyone noticing, which is scary because the place is near a busy street. When we talked to the managers about our worries, they just gave us corporate talk and didn’t seem to care. It feels like they only care about money, not the people who live here. We pay a lot of money, so if things don’t get better, we’ll find another place for grandma. There are lots of other good places around here. Bickford could be great if the bosses cared more about people and less about money. Beautiful buildings can’t hide the real problems.
