"Plenty to Do, but Some Hiccups"
Moving in was easy, but aides need better coverage. Long wait times. Lots of activities.

"Small rooms, good amenities, caring staff, and fall detection"
- Showers are in the hallway. - Rooms are quite small, about 240-273 square feet. - There are three meal choices. - Nice sunroom and outdoor courtyard. - New cameras to detect falls. - The memory care director is very nice and takes residents on outings for ice cream and to restaurants.

"Value for money with consistent amenities, though food lacks variety."
We picked Brookdale Orland Park for its affordability and comparable amenities to other places we considered. The food, however, lacks variety, with the same items repeated on the menu. Despite this, we would still recommend it to others.

"Assisted Living Community Review: Transitioning Management, Mixed Medication Management"
The community is going through changes with new management. It took time to resolve issues with the director, who is new. Medication management had problems; meds were sometimes late, disturbing residents. Despite this, the community is clean, and staff are caring. The dining room recently reopened after pandemic protocols. Apartments are well-maintained with housekeeping weekly. Considering moving my loved one due to issues.
