"Highly Recommended Assisted Living with Great Location and Presentation"
I would suggest Cedarhurst Bethalto to others. It was almost perfect. The location and presentation were good.

"Insufficient Care"
While the facility looks nice, the care wasn't enough. My mom was in memory care, and often there was only one worker for 13-15 residents. They promised at least two. Go see for yourself. We moved her out quickly.

"Lacking Warmth but No Complaints"
We didn't think about choosing this place. I can't think of anything bad, but it just didn't feel very cozy or friendly.

"Understaffed Assisted Living Facility Poses Risks"
The assisted living facility is dangerously understaffed, putting residents and visitors at risk. The food is terrible, and the memory care rooms are filthy. The overwhelmed resident assistants and two nurses work exhausting 14-hour shifts. Sometimes, after 3 PM, there's only one caregiver for all the residents. I wouldn't recommend this facility.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Services and Security"
Recently, I thought this place was great. But now, it's not giving my loved one the right care. There aren't enough staff, but it's not their fault. They try their best. The food isn't good. It's cold and sometimes too tough. The care isn't worth what I pay. They keep changing the door codes, and residents get locked out. They still haven't fixed my loved one's door code.
