"Mixed Feelings about Concord Assisted Living"
I've had problems with communication and follow-up at Concord. That's disappointing. But the bus driver, receptionist, cafeteria staff, and church pastors are great. Overall, I'd still recommend them because of the facility and price.

"A Hidden Gem Amidst Challenges"
The location isn't great—the facility sits in a triangle between a railroad track, a busy street, and an interstate, with nothing else nearby. But what you get here is fantastic. The staff at the front line is excellent, and the food isn't too bad. It's pricey, but after checking out a few other places, I believe it's a good deal for this area. Plus, it takes care of everything I need.

"Beware: Overworked Staff and Bedbugs"
Some employees here are quite welcoming, while others act friendly but don't be fooled. I've seen that the nursing assistants, or CNAs, often seem overworked and understaffed. The carpets in the hallways and rooms are grimy, and it can get pretty hot inside. Plus, I've heard talk and even seen for myself that this place has a bedbug issue... numerous reports of it, in fact. Before you decide to move your loved one in here, be sure to do some investigating on your own. Listening to the people who live here will give you a good idea.

"Mixed feelings about assisted living facility; potential for improvement noted."
The entrance and hallways seem old and worn out. They need new carpeting and some sprucing up. Because they look old, they seem dirty, which is sad because I'm sure the staff works hard. theme. is great! They helped me find a place for my parents and showed kindness and care. The apartments are nice and big. There's a heated indoor pool and lots of places to hang out with friends. Three meals a day are included, which is nice. It's good to know you don't have to cook or clean every day if you don't want to. But parking is tough, and there's no assigned spots. If you do your own laundry, it's in the basement and costs $0.75. The elevators are old and slow, and sometimes one doesn't work. The common areas are too cold, so you need a warm sweater. Despite the drawbacks, the private apartments and on-site help make up for it. It's a Supportive Living community, which is comforting. If they made some upgrades, it could be even better!

"Could use better lighting"
I visited this place, and it was okay. The only thing I didn't like was that it was a bit dark. I wanted my Mom to be somewhere brighter with a better environment. The staff was friendly, and I got a follow-up call from the director. The facility looked clean and nice. Workers were busy taking care of residents, which was a good sign. They also showed me the restaurant, which looked nice. Unfortunately, the location didn't work for us, so we decided not to move her in. Overall, it wasn't a bad facility.

"Satisfactory Home for Dad: Concord Place Assisted Living"
Concord Place works well for us since it's near family and affordable. Dad's adjusting to his new room, though it's a big change from our house. The staff takes good care of him. The food's decent, but some days are better than others. They offer activities, but Dad prefers to relax. They have transportation for outings, but we usually take Dad ourselves. Not much outdoor stuff, but that's okay because Dad has COPD. After looking at many places, we're confident we made the right choice with Concord Place.

"A Pleasant Assisted Living Community"
The restaurant feels like a hotel. They serve the main entrees on plates covered in plastic wrap so you can see them. There's also a menu, but the food from it takes a bit longer to arrive. "Not Quite What We Were Hoping For"
My mom feels the food here is alright. They don't provide any sort of welcome session or introduction for newcomers. They charge extra if you want a nurse to accompany your family member to and back from meals. They do have things going on daily, but the communication around what those activities are could be better. On the bright side, her room is nice and both it and the general community area is kept clean. The place just doesn't seem to fit well with my mom's needs.

"Struggle to afford basic necessities amid rising assisted living costs"
This place wants to kick me out fast. They upped my rent even though Medicare didn't increase my income. I only have $2.20 each month for soap, shampoo, toothpaste, stamps, laundry soap, and quarters for laundry over three months. My meds cost $220 every three months, but in the donut hole, it's $650. That's why many folks here have dirty hair, bodies, clothes, and shoes with holes, and why they're crammed into about 14 small rooms. Either pay the higher rent or get thrown onto the streets. Do I buy insulin or pay rent? This whole thing really opened my eyes. Please inquire about my monthly income.

"Least Impressed With This Assisted Living Facility"
When we were exploring different places for assisted living, this one was at the bottom of our list. It just wasn't in a great spot. Out of everywhere we looked, this place had the poorest room conditions. The room we were shown had a window facing the freeway, and it was just too loud. They did have a therapy house on site, and the meal area seemed okay. In the end, we didn’t pick this place.

"Not Living Up to Our Expectations at Concord Place"
Mom's having a tough time getting used to Concord Place. She's a lot younger than most people there. The staff don't really pay much attention, and the caregivers aren't treating mom well. She's not really feeling happy here. We've been trying to settle a workers comp issue she had from before, but the doctor won't see her until it's resolved. The staff haven't been helpful with this either. To top it off, caregivers have been disturbing her in the middle of the night, which is upsetting for her. It's definitely not as great as we had expected.

Concord Place offers good value. It's much cheaper than other places—only $1500/month instead of $2500/month. "Lamentable Swindle: A Deplorable Hoax at Costly Elderly Facility"
If it were possible to give the Concorde anything less than a one-star review, I wouldn't hesitate. I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST THIS PLACE. We were initially given a tour of a room in the independent living section that had a fantastic view and were assured that this would be my dad's room. We were also informed that essential amenities such as a television and other furnishings were included, and since the deposit was quite hefty, the room and its belongings would belong to my dad. Before we committed to the lease, the staff was all smiles and friendliness. Once we signed the lease, things changed dramatically. The promised TV was nowhere to be found. The room with the beautiful view we were shown was not where my dad was placed. Calls went unreturned. There were even remnants left behind by the previous resident, including dentures on the bathroom sink. The room was utterly unclean. Furthermore, the staff became unapproachable and apathetic, clearly overwhelmed. The establishment's incompetence even extended to the elevators, which were frequently out of order. To make matters worse, younger veterans were residing in the facility and causing disruptions like smoking and drinking indoors, with staff turning a blind eye. A mere two weeks after moving in, my father was hospitalized and passed away in the third week of his $1400 per month lease. Despite a sizable deposit of over $2800 and given that my father, on a special diet, scarcely ate anything (partly leading to his unfortunate death), we hoped the facility may offer a small credit. We reached out to those who had initially been so friendly and welcoming. But we heard nothing. Not even a token of sympathy or a simple acknowledgment for choosing them. Instead, all we received was a copy of the lease, with David's hastily scribbled note reminding us we were still liable for all costs. We weren't disputing the lease. My father lived there for three short weeks, and we paid two whole months in advance. When we suggested we would take the furniture instead, we were bluntly shut down and told that the furniture wasn't ours, as if they'd completely forgotten our initial agreement. In short, stay as far away from this place as you possibly can.

This place is really awesome! You can find lots of fun things to do here like art, photography, or music. You gotta be willing to try new stuff though. When I first got here, I was a little nervous, but it turned out to be amazing. They even help out by brushing off your car! And the price you pay is unbelievable. I only have to cover my phone and cable bills. They're flexible with different incomes too. Plus, they tidy up your place once a week. And guess what? They have a swimming pool! If you bring a buddy, you can swim whenever you want. They organize cool activities like spelling bees and brain teasers. And the food? They serve two main dishes every meal, plus salads and yummy burgers. If you don't like what's on the menu, they'll make something else for you. The rooms kinda feel like college dorms, which is neat. The only thing I wish could be better is if they could help out older folks who feel bored.
