"Terrible Staff and Negligence at Memory Care Facility Reported"

Total nightmare! This memory care place is simply the pits. There's no stability with always changing chief staff. There aren't any worthwhile activities for the residents in memory care. They just sit in front of a TV. Plus, although parts of it look fancy after reconstruction, they promised to upgrade a resident's room but never did. The place is NOT clean, and constantly reeks. The residents aren't taken care of right, often left alone to fend for themselves. Remember, this is a memory care facility- everybody here needs extra help and reminders! So many times, residents were eating off of paper plates, not regular dishes and silverware. I've seen on multiple occasions, medicine on the floor or stuck in the furniture - so they clearly don't check if the residents are taking their meds. They claim residents only need showers once a week, but come on, the folks in memory care really need more than one shower a week! Trust me, I could go on...Please, look for a better place for your family.

"Kind Staff but Not Enough of Them"

This community is where my mom lives. It's been updated with newer accommodations, but there just isn't enough staff. They've gotten a lot more residents since my mom moved in, so the staff is spread thin. The staff is very kind and they clean weekly. The food is good, but they often change what's on the menu. They do have other options too. My mom feels safe here. The activities suffer because of the understaffing. Sometimes they go down for crafts on the calendar, but no staff is there to run the activity. They're supposed to do an hour of exercise daily, but they only get 15 minutes due to understaffing. There just isn't enough stimulation, but hopefully, it will improve.

"Room for Improvement, Mom Feels Safe"

My mom lives in this community. They've updated it with newer accommodations. However, there's a shortage of staff. Since my mom arrived, more residents have joined, stretching the staff thin. They're kind but overwhelmed. They clean weekly, and the food's decent, though the menu changes often. There are other options available too. Mom feels safe here, but the activities suffer due to the understaffing. Sometimes, scheduled activities like crafts or exercise aren't properly facilitated. There's not enough stimulation, but hopefully, it'll improve.
