"Not Very Inviting"
I visited this place, but it didn't impress me. It didn't feel welcoming.

"Inconsistent Staff, Lack of Activities, Delayed Refund: Beautiful but Unrecommended"
This place didn't use their own workers. They hired from agencies. My mom stayed in the memory care unit. Every time I went to see her, the workers were different. They often talked in Spanish while sitting with the residents, who didn't speak Spanish, during meals. All the residents were left in front of the TV all day. They didn't let them stay in their rooms because they said they needed to watch them. So, they had to take naps in their chairs. There wasn't anyone in charge of activities for memory care. My mom had to go to the hospital in November. We moved all her stuff out the day before Thanksgiving. She couldn't go back because of medical reasons. We're still waiting for the refund. Overall, the place looks nice but I wouldn't suggest it.

"Good care, but staffing concerns"
This has been a positive experience for us. Sometimes it seems like the community is understaffed. They provide housekeeping twice a week, and my loved one's bed is made daily except on weekends. The staff communicates well with the family.

"Not Quite What We Needed"
Aspired Living is a nice, spacious place with different floors. We wanted something smaller on a single level, though. Nothing was wrong; it just didn't match what we needed.

"Spacious Rooms, Long Halls, Recommended Assisted Living Facility"
The hallways are really long, so you might prefer not to have your loved one at the end of the hall. I really like the rooms; they are very nice and have plenty of space. Based on my experience, I would suggest this community to others.

"Clean, friendly, small rooms, good activities, location preference"
Newly built, clean, with friendly staff. Small rooms, but friendly residents. Not fully occupied. Many activities offered. Would prefer closer to Northbrook or Glenview.

"Happy Mom, Great Place: Love Grandbrier!"
Finding the right Assisted Living for my mom was a big challenge. She had lived alone for 12 years, so moving was a scary idea for her. She thought she was doing fine on her own. But when I met the team at Grandbrier, I knew it was the right place for her. The staff is friendly and inviting, the building is new and beautiful, and my mom is really happy. She’s made lots of friends, joined many activities, and she’s glad she made the move!

"Helpful Place!!"
I recently toured this community for my loved one, and I have no complaints about how things went. The staff were punctual for our appointment and answered all my questions in detail. The floor plan and amenities were nice for residents. Ultimately, it wasn’t the right location for us, but I’d recommend it to anyone interested.

"We almost chose this place, but paperwork was a problem"
We really liked this community and decided it was the place for my parents. It’s brand new, everything was clean and fresh, and the staff was friendly. However, the paperwork was a problem. Because of some confusing wording on a questionnaire that my parents' doctor had to fill out, they couldn’t accept my parents. The management should review and adjust the evaluation form to better assess future residents.

"Quick Departure After Unexpected Fall"
We checked out different places before choosing this one. We thought it would work out well, but our family member had a fall right away. Finally, we shifted to a facility that suits our needs better.
