"A Great Choice for Mom: Heritage Woods Assisted Living"
We moved my mom to Heritage Woods after hearing good things and touring the place. I visit often and every time I'm there, I'm impressed with their facility. The residents and staff are friendly and caring. They provide 3 nutritious meals daily, housecleaning, laundry services, and lots of activities to help everyone get to know each other. It's reassuring to know there are CNAs available 24/7 in case my mom needs help. They check on her frequently, which I'm very thankful for. Every visit to Heritage Woods convinces me more that this is the right place for my mom.

"Community Room Dominated by Pool Table, Activities Affected"
They put a pool table in our community room. Most residents use wheelchairs or canes and can't play pool. Now we can't play bingo, do exercises, crafts, or music. The room is taken over by the pool table. It looked great when it was new, but now the furniture is moved around and it's messy. Doing activities every day is important for our health, but now there's a huge pool table.

"Consider Staffing Ratios at Welcoming Facility"
I’ve been to see folks at this place and it seems nice and tidy. If you’re looking at moving someone in, you might wanna find out about how many nurses or helpers they have for each person and how much they actually go and look in on the folks living there. A person I know took a bad fall, ended up with broken bones, and was down on the ground the whole night.

"Seems Solid, but Check Staff Monitoring Carefully"
I've been to this place to see the folks living there. It seems clean and friendly. If you’re thinking of having someone you care about live there, I'd suggest asking them about the number of nurses and caregivers they have, and how often they really check on the folks. I know someone who had a serious fall there and ended up with broken bones, lying on the floor all night.

"Great experience after a quick fix to issues."
Overall, we've had a very good experience with Heritage Woods! We had a bit of a rocky start because of some miscommunication with the caregivers, but they resolved it quickly, and they've been great ever since. They are quick to fix any issues or answer our questions. The facility is nice and clean, and the staff is all very friendly.

We’ve had a really good experience with Heritage Woods! At first, there were a few problems because of some miscommunication with the caregivers, but they fixed everything quickly and have been great ever since. They are really fast at handling any issues or answering our questions. The place is nice and clean, and all the staff are very friendly.
