"Mixed Experience with New Staff at Assisted Living Facility"
I think this community is worth considering. The person who helped us with the paperwork was new, and we were also new to this whole process and in a bit of a hurry when we decided. I believe if some things had been different, our experience might have been smoother. The transition for us and our family member wasn't the easiest. The staff here are nice, and there's a new nurse in charge who started around the same time we did. They're still figuring things out, but overall, it seems they're getting things sorted.

"Affordable, friendly, and safe; room temperature issues occasionally noticed."
We chose Morningside of Shiloh because it was affordable, the managers were friendly, and the building was easy to navigate. Compared to other places we checked out, it gave us more for our money. She had a big room with her own bathroom. The only problem was sometimes it was too hot or cold for her. The daytime managers usually helped quickly, but we had some problems with the nighttime staff. Overall, I'd still tell people who can manage on their own to consider this place.

"Great Place with Roomy Layout!"
I believe it’s a great place. Staff changes a lot currently. Rooms and community layout are fantastic. There’s an outdoor courtyard for residents. My mom isn’t a big fan of the food.

"Happy and Caring Community at Morningside of Shiloh"
My mom has been at Morningside of Shiloh for 6 years, and it was the best choice we made. She's really happy there. The administrator is amazing and really cares about the residents. If you have any concerns, she handles them quickly. The meals in the dining room are great, and I can say that from experience. The activity director is always smiling and ready to entertain the residents with things like bingo, family night, ice cream trips, social hour with cocktails, and more. They also have a van service to take residents to doctor visits, Walmart, and other places. The driver is super friendly and helpful. The staff is very friendly and caring. If you need a great place for your loved one, I highly recommend Morningside of Shiloh.

"Wonderful Care and Community at Morningside of Shiloh"
As a family member of a long-time resident, I wanted to share my perspective. My mom has lived here for over 4 years and she LOVES it! The staff administration, nurses, caregivers, maintenance, kitchen, and everyone else are great at creating a community and making everyone feel like part of the Morningside Family! The administrator, [name removed], is amazing. She really cares about each resident and their needs. She's dedicated and always goes the extra mile. My mom has received wonderful care from her on several occasions. Miss Jules has been fantastic! the office manager, is incredibly helpful and always stands up for residents. Miss Janet and the nursing staff are great at taking care of all medical needs. [Name removed] drives the bus, making sure residents get to Wal-Mart, appointments, or outings. And [name removed] handles all maintenance needs quickly and well. I can't forget [name removed], the activities director, who is creative, warm, and treats residents like her own kids. She works hard to provide fun and engaging activities year-round that help with memory and mental stimulation. Overall, the facility is well-managed and clean, with meals that Mom says are "delicious!" Morningside of Shiloh has been a huge blessing for our family. My mom is thriving here, and I’m so grateful she is well cared for and happy. I highly recommend this place because everyone truly cares! I encourage you to visit, ask questions, and see for yourself what makes this place so special!

"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The rooms were not very clean. Some staff were on their phones instead of talking to residents. We saw an office worker being mean to another staff member in front of everyone. However, the activities for residents were great. We talked to some residents about the food, and they said it was mostly good quality.

"Lovely Community with Friendly Staff"
I really liked this community—it was one of my top picks. Everyone was nice and friendly. The place looked great, but it felt too big for my father, and he wouldn’t be comfortable. Also, it cost $500 more than another community we were considering. I just couldn’t justify.

"Norwood Crossing: A Welcoming Community with Excellent Care and Staff"
I really like Norwood Crossing. The people at the admissions office are super friendly, responsive, and helpful. The whole staff is really good. My mom was well taken care of there, even though they missed a few things when she first got there. The place is pretty clean, but one of the food areas isn't as good as the others. Mom gets great care there, they take her on outings, but they'd rather the residents see the doctors within the community.

"Tour Experience Mixed - Liked Nurse, Felt Rushed"
This was the first care home we visited. It was good to see that a nurse was around almost all the time. However, I think there should've been a more official spot to have our conversation. We were sitting in the dining room, and it seemed like the lady was preoccupied; kind of like we were keeping her from something or taking her away from home.

"Pricy, but Nice Courtyard and Weekly Church Service"
The cost is $2,900 plus an extra $400 for waiver fees. It has a smaller yet pleasant courtyard and there's a church service every week.
