"Nice place but too far from family for our loved one."
This place is nice, but it's too far from our family to visit often for our loved one.

"Nice assisted living facility with quiet atmosphere and monthly parties"
This place is a nice assisted living facility. We visited on a Sunday for a few reasons: to check if residents could get out or if the place was busy, and to see what activities were available. It was pretty quiet, and there were several people sitting around. I didn’t see any staff, but since it’s assisted living, people can come and go as they please. My dad had been there for a birthday party for a man who turned 100. They did a special flag folding ceremony with the American Legion because he wanted to see it while he was still alive. They also have birthday parties once a month for those with birthdays that month. Overall, it was a nice place, but we decided on a different community.

"Excellent care and support, highly recommend for meals and housekeeping."
The administrative staff at Morningside in Washington, IL goes above and beyond to meet your loved ones' needs. Scott was especially helpful, assisting with moving my parents from their apartment in Morton to assisted living, and then, after my mom passed, he and his team quickly moved my dad to a unit that better suited his needs. I highly recommend this place for those who need help with meals and housekeeping. I wish I had thought of this sooner; my mom would have loved it years ago! The management team is dedicated to helping you stay in a comfortable home and avoid nursing homes.
