"Caring Staff and Cozy Room"
The room felt cozy and comfy, but the bed could be better for residents—it’s too small. The staff was super helpful, especially with my Uncle. The nurses were caring and attentive.

"Nursing Staff and Communication Highly Appreciated"
This review is based on what I've noticed and experienced. The "Meals/Dining" rating comes from my mom's regular comments. I really like the nursing staff and how they talk with me. I'm especially happy with those who check on her. She did mention a few times that one person tells her they'll return soon to give her medicine but supposedly they arrive more than an hour later...she thinks they must be busy with something else. Thank you!

"Mixed Impressions on Assisted Living"
The place seems nice from outside, but inside it needs work—old building, repairs, and new chairs. Appreciate the chance to share my thoughts!

"Needs More Activity and Surveys"
We chose this community based on a recommendation from an RN. However, it's not very active. They could improve by conducting surveys for both assisted living and independent members. Also, consider visiting at different shifts.

"Improvements Needed in Sunrise Assisted Living"
Sunrise could do better with family communication. They make promises, but sometimes don't follow through. Patients need quicker assistance.

"Great place, pandemic made things tough, still highly recommended"
My loved one was having a great time here and enjoyed everything the place had to offer. But when the pandemic started, it made things difficult for him. Even with that, I still think it’s a fantastic place and I would definitely recommend it to others.

"Mixed Feelings at Sunrise Villa"
I'm a bit disappointed with the food at Sunrise Villa. It's delivered cold to our rooms, and making friends is tough since we have to sit alone in the dining room. However, the facility is beautifully decorated, and they used to offer plenty of activities before the lockdown. Thankfully, I can still arrange outings with my son, and there haven't been any COVID cases here.

"Dreadful Facility: Even My DOG Deserves Better"
I'd give this place zero stars if I could. I wouldn't even dream of letting my dog stay there after witnessing my grandmother's treatment. First off, it's glaringly obvious that the staff members are only present for their paychecks; the well-being of the residents isn't their concern. They're quick to send residents to the hospital, even when unnecessary. I also have a strong warning: DO NOT authorize them to deduct the rent from your bank account directly. A staff member, whose name I'll keep confidential, mistakenly took out three months' worth of rent - over $6,000! The woman manning the front desk isn't much better - she's gleefully rude. I've caught her making faces behind residents' backs. The lady running the place only caters to the wealthy residents, particularly those occupying the villa or double rooms. This is a stern warning- if you love and care for your family member, avoid this place at all costs.

"Unfair Judgement and Lack of Tour on Assisted Living Facility"
An employee named misjudged my sister who suffers from dementia and worked as a nurse for over thirty-five years at the VA Hospital. I felt really disappointed and annoyed by this. They didn't even take the time to guide me around the facility. I found their quick assumptions very bothersome.

"No Fun, Too Pricey, Not Fully Staffed Assisted Living Facility"
They show off all the fancy stuff, but don't meet their promises. There's not enough staff in the evenings and on weekends, especially in the assisted living section. There's nothing fun to do on the weekends and barely anything for independent living. The nurse peaces out by 9PM on weekdays. They've only got LPNs and CNAs, or sometimes just one of each, working at night, unless they're napping on the job. The place nickels and dimes you till you're broke.

"Assisted Living: Pricey Villas, Beware Extra Fees for Services"
I really liked this place. The houses cost a lot, but they're nice. Just be careful about extra charges they might sneak in for services.

"Exploring a caring community: A tour for your loved one"
I really enjoyed visiting this place when I went on a tour. The people who work there were very nice and showed that they care. They have things for residents to do, which is good. The place itself looked really nice and it was super clean. They have a bunch of activities available, which is cool. I think families should go and see this place if they're looking for somewhere to take care of a family member.

"Assisted Living Facilities Impress Us So Far"
We're quite pleased with the assisted living facilities. Everything is really clean, and the staff are all friendly. So far, they've been good with care and attentiveness. Our only concern is that a couple of times, no one showed up for medication reminders. The entertainment and activities are fantastic, and the food is very good—I'd give it a four or a five.

"Impressive First Impression, But Size and Lighting Are Concerning"
Walking into this place left me stunned, but as I roamed around to see the rooms, I noticed it was really dark and dreary in the hallways. I imagined that an elderly person would get lost easily due to the size of the facility and dim lighting. It just didn't feel like the right fit for my mom.

"Be wary: Undisclosed costs at this assisted living facility"
My relative spent less than a month here due to inadequate care. After an initial assessment, we agreed to a monthly fee. However, within three days they declared extra services not included in the set cost were needed, leading to additional hourly charges. These "additional services" were never discussed in the assessment. Had we known my relative would need these hidden services, we would have realized this wasn't the right place for her. The surprise costs hit us hard. I advise anyone considering this place to deeply detail potential scenarios and inquire about extra charges.

"Beware Their Limited Time Offer and Delayed Refund Schemes"
My dad decided to back out after signing an agreement under pressure - they said the offer would end soon. When we called to end the agreement, they stalled on responding and tried to suggest other choices. We eventually told them straight-up, "No thanks, just end the agreement." Then they only gave back part of the rent and deposit, claiming we owed them for the two weeks they took to handle the situation. The apartment wasn't even ready to live in during those two weeks. It only became ready the exact day we ended the agreement.

"Very good overall, with a few issues"
The staff who provide higher-end care here are excellent. The directors, nurses, and overall care systems they have in place are very good—I’d give them 6 out of 5 stars! However, the aides encounter some issues. They strictly follow the rules and won’t go beyond their assigned tasks. Also, they sometimes talk to residents in a condescending way. Many residents are still fully capable adults and should be treated accordingly. I appreciate how they handle communication, with the front desk acting as the hub. When it works well, it’s super efficient and convenient. But whether it works depends on who’s at the front desk. The staff who’s there during regular business hours, is wonderful. However, others we’ve dealt with during evenings or holidays haven’t been as impressive. Overall, this place provides great care, despite a few issues.

"Great Place for Mom, Needs Better Handicap Features"
I think this is a really nice place for my mother-in-law. She was unsure at first, but she’s settling in well. She’s made new friends and is getting involved in activities. My only worry is that the kitchen and bathroom aren’t really set up for people with disabilities. The cabinets are too high to reach with a walker, and the toilet is too low, so we had to buy a seat riser.

"Decent facility lacking amenities crowded. Meal plan satisfactory."
Review: It's pretty nice. The food setup is a bit different from what I expected. I think you pay a fixed amount every month. The building itself looks good, but there's no swimming pool, which is a bummer. Also, it felt a bit crowded inside.

"First Impressions Deceive at Assisted Living Home"
My relatives and I were thrilled by the scenic view, large rooms, activity offerings, and location of the assisted living home. We were quick to move in. However, the activities that were promised were nowhere to be found. The food didn't appeal to our tastes – it was flavorless, dry, lacked spices, and was quite dull overall. On-site medical help wasn't available — one has to travel outside for medical assistance. Requests for the property's repair and service are properly recorded, but the execution is disappointingly slow.
