"Deceptive Assisted Living Facility with Poor Care and High Fees"
Watch out! This place might look nice when you first check it out but don't let that fool you. They'll make big promises that they can't keep. The staff is never there for long, they're gone after just a week. We moved our parents here from an independent living place, and the care was so bad Mom almost didn't make it. Don't buy into their falsehoods. This place is worse than Cook County. Plus, the costs are sky-high. Please, don't put your family in this place. You'll wish you hadn't by the morning.

"High cost, not worth it for independent seniors."
I checked out this place for my mom, but wow, it's super pricey! It's a bummer that it's so expensive. Mom can manage on her own, but she was hoping for a place where people her age hang out.

"Much too costly for mom's age-friendly community"
Checked this spot for mom but it's insanely pricey. It's unfortunate it's so steeply priced. She can manage living independently but prefers a community that serves her age group.

"Separated Buildings Impact Community Fit"
We visited Park Place, which seemed nice. The apartments were lovely, and the staff was helpful. However, the memory care and assisted living units are in different buildings. I prefer a more integrated approach to care, so this community isn't the best fit

"Nice Place, But Care Units Are Separate"
We visited Park Place and I was pretty impressed. The apartments looked great and people working there were friendly. But the thing is, they keep the folks needing memory care and those needing regular assisted living in different buildings. I like things to be more mixed together, so I don't think this place would be the best for us.

"Nice Place, Not the Best Fit for Social Seniors"
I visited this place and it looked really neat and tidy. It’s not a big place, but that didn’t wow us, even though there was plenty of room. The people living there didn’t seem to talk to each other much, and my dad loves to chat. It just wasn’t the perfect match for him.

"Clean Facility, Just Not Social Enough For Dad"
I visited this care home and it looked nice and spotless. The facility isn't too big, but we were still not really thrilled about it, regardless of the large rooms. The people living there didn't seem very sociable and my father loves to chat. It just wasn't the right place for him.

"Avoid - Terrible Care and Unpalatable Food"
Our family member's care here was truly awful. Sure, one helper was fantastic, two nurses, and all the physiotherapy staff were outstanding, but overall the team was simply unacceptable. The food was terrifyingly bad and, sadly, the way they treated patients was just mean.

"Great floor plan!"
My loved one's studio apartment is spacious, with lots of natural light. The community's floor plan is great, and she enjoys the diverse activities, like zoo lights field trips. Overall, I'm pleased.

"Lacking trust in management and poor dining services"
Definitely side with the previous reviews here. The people in charge either outright fib to your face, or they continually claim they're looking into something without providing any answers about their mistakes. We've been here for about four months and have caught them messing up the medications at least four times. The food service is less than impressive. There are a couple of good nurse's aides, but they are few and far between. Cortney, I've seen your responses to these posts and you might want to take a second peek at what you're advocating for and offering to folks.

"Beware - Dishonest Facility with Poor Services and Care"
Definitely agree with 'think twice' about this place. The facility's bosses either flat out lie to you or keep saying they're 'looking into it' but never actually tell you anything about their mistakes. We've been living here for 4 months, and on more than 4 occasions, they messed up the medication doses, as far as we know. The food service is not good at all. There are a couple of Nursing Assistants that are amazing, but only a couple. I appreciate them replying to these messages but maybe they should look more closely at what they're trying to promote and sell to us.

"Doubtful Deals: Care or Cash?"
The sneaky bosses at this place will tell you false things straight to your face. It makes me wonder if they're losing money. For these people, making money is more important than caring for the seniors.

"Outrageously Expensive"
The assisted living facility was super pricey! They wanted a whopping $300,000 upfront or something like that. But hey, it looked gorgeous!

"Popular assisted living in Elmhurst; $38 one-time fee."
This new place in Elmhurst is getting a lot of attention. A bunch of folks from around here are selling their houses to live here. And there's just one fee.
