"Beautiful apartment, lovely grounds, convenient location for family."
We chose this place because my loved one's apartment is nice, the grounds are pretty, and it's convenient for our family.

"Friendly staff, many amenities, and lots of activities offered"
The tour was great, and the location is very convenient. The residents and staff are friendly, and there's indoor parking. They offer different floor plans, an exercise room, a beauty/barber shop, medical personnel on-site, a pool, and tons of activities for everyone. I’m thinking about choosing this place to live, but I’m not ready to downsize just yet.

"Beware of Fees and Poor Communication at Sedgebrook"
The facility looks good, and everyone there, from the staff to the residents, is super friendly. But there’s a big catch: if you move out or pass away, you have to keep paying for three more months, which is like $2000 each month. It feels like you’re handing over almost all your money to Sedgebrook until they sell your place. The problem is, they don’t seem to rush to sell it and they’re not telling you how it’s going. When you ask them why it’s taking so long, they just make excuses. It’s like they’re okay with holding onto your money. Our place has been up for grabs for seven months now, and nothing’s happening. They’re really bad at keeping in touch. Make sure you ask a lot of questions about this before you agree to anything.

"Beautiful, but pricey with average food."
This is a buy-in community, and I would say you need to be wealthy to afford it. There's a rehab center behind the community, and they have a doctor on-site, with a podiatrist and hearing specialist visiting monthly. The community is clean and beautiful. The food isn’t great, but they have a bistro-style cafeteria that’s better than the dining room. They offer indoor parking and have a pool.
