"Horrible Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
My mom stayed in this skilled nursing facility for 4 months for treatment. The therapy team was decent and kind to both of us. But the rest of the staff, from social services to nurses, was AWFUL! They ignored my calls and didn't return my messages. Every weekend, my mom was left in bed without any therapy and the 'call button' was always kept out of her reach. The nurses and aides would yell at either of us if we called too much or questioned their actions or lack thereof. When my mother passed away while under their watch, they didn't return all her personal stuff to us.

"Husband Suffers Due to Assisted Living Facility's Neglect"
Consider my advice seriously: don't bring your loved ones here. The standard of care is incredibly low. Doctors don't even see them in person - they just talk over the phone. My husband suffered in silence because they never noticed his severe pain. This isn't the first time they neglected him. Before this, they didn't catch his wheezing until I pointed it out. Turns out, he had fluid in his lungs. They were even blind to the swelling in his leg. I raised a complaint with the ombudsman and we were even ready for a second meeting with the facility director. However, my husband ended up in ER. He had an abscess on his leg, right below his buttocks, that needed to be drained. I suspect this happened because he fell during therapy. I've got a lot to say about their therapy. If you don't want your spouse ending up in the hospital, or worse, I strongly suggest you steer clear of this place.

"Comfortable and Welcoming Assisted Living with Excellent Staff"
My husband stayed in the Assisted Living part for a bit. The nurses and CNAs were friendly. The room was tidy and had plenty of room. The carpets in the halls seemed old but smelled good. They had fun things to do every day, and the food was okay. The man who showed us around was very thorough and spoke well. Definitely worth the cost.

"Poor communication and lack of transparency about patient's care and status"
My boyfriend is staying there and when it was time for him to go, I found it really difficult to find out when. I kept having to call them about his leave date and I felt like they were giving me the runaround. My boyfriend needed extra care when he'd leave and I had to talk to a social worker about his care plan and any home care he'd need. They kept trying to transfer me to a social worker who wasn't even there anymore and some staff didn't even know she had quit. I called so much the front desk person told me I should just come in and try to find someone who could help. So, I go there in person only to be told that the person I needed to talk to was always in a meeting. Finally, some nurses told me when he could leave and I left my contact info for the person in charge. And surprise, she was busy with a meeting and had another one planned right after. I still haven't heard back from anyone and his release date is tomorrow. Oh, and one more thing I almost forgot - my boyfriend got COVID-19 and they didn't tell me until a week later.

"Overall positive experience despite staffing challenges."
The place feels more like an institution than a home. My dad's experience has been mostly positive despite some staffing challenges due to COVID.

"Needs Improvement: Staff and COVID Plan Lacking"
The place doesn’t have enough people working, and a lot of them leave pretty often. The workers there don’t do their jobs well, they’re messy, and they don’t seem to care much. The bosses are really good, but when they’re not there, things don’t go right. Their plan for dealing with sickness, like COVID, didn’t make me feel safe. They did help me move in fast, though. I wouldn’t tell others to go to this place.

"Friendly Staff, Bad Smell: Continue Your Search"
The workers were friendly and knowledgeable, even giving access to a support group. However, the facility smelled awful. You may want to keep searching.

"This community deserves my recommendation!"
My mom enjoys playing bingo, and they also have various activities like happy hour. The staff is super friendly and attentive to both my mom and us, addressing our questions and concerns. The food is quite good, and they maintain a clean community.
