"Caring Staff and Clean Spaces Make Summit a Great Choice"
The staff and residents at the Summit are amazing. The place is kept really clean and looks nice. They have lots of activities to keep my dad busy all day. They know him by name, and I feel happy knowing he's in good hands.

"Communication Issues with Meds at Assisted Living"
Everyone is super friendly, and the therapy and food are good. But there's a problem with communication about my sister's meds. She's missing a pill for her itching because the head nurse thinks she'll be overmedicated, even though the script came from the attending physician at Resurrection Hospital during her ER visit. We're checking into this.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
Overall, I'm let down. The facility didn't match the initial promises, and there have been several problems. The dining service and food need major improvement. I'd suggest the place, but with some reservations.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Tour"
Our family took an in-person tour, and it was a pleasant experience. They offered memory care, which was positive. However, the space felt a bit cramped and not very open.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
The community is pleasant. The best part is the staff, especially those under the Director of Nursing they were fantastic! It would've been helpful to have a checklist to ensure all care needs were met and help my loved ones settle in. The monthly fee covered laundry, linens changed, housekeeping, the apartment, meals, and utilities all well taken care of. However, there could have been better communication about the care plan for residents and their families. My loved ones weren't informed about how to request assistance, but once the staff noticed their needs, they were great at helping out.

"Avoid The Summit: Poor Service, Unsafe Conditions"
For some reason, it looks like my family member's review vanished—you'd think they'd keep those around. This place, The Summit, really doesn't have anything good for the people living there. They just care about making money, not about the health and safety of our relatives. The staff doesn't know what they're doing, and the facility itself is bad. Don't bother visiting, it's a waste of time.

"Disappointed with Summit, lack of parking and uninformed staff."
I recently went to the Summit for my mom who just lost my dad. I wasn't happy from the get-go. There was a terrible parking system. Finding a spot was such a pain. The person I spoke with made no sense at all. They were totally unaware and didn't know much about elderly people. The place was alright, but nothing to write home about. The apartments were pretty aged. There's not much that this place has to offer. I'm just relieved that my bad experience at the Summit led me to the Sheridan nearby.

""Summit Disappoints: Prioritizes Sales over Resident Needs""
This place really let me down when I visited for my grandma and grandpa. The second I got there, I was bummed out. There's not enough parking and I ended up having to park at Trader Joe's. I talked to someone in their sales department who was more interested in selling than in making sure my grandparents would be happy there. They didn't show any care or comfort at all. While I was there, I didn't spot any fun stuff for the residents to do. The living spaces need some serious work. The only plus point is the location of the Summit. My advice? Find a better place for your family members.
