"Cedarhurst of Godfrey: A Recommended Assisted Living Facility"
My parents live at Cedarhurst of Godfrey. At first, we had problems with their medicine. The staff sometimes isn't enough. Even though I haven't tried the food, my parents say it's good. I like that they get three meals a day. The activities are great too. They had a car show and live music for Father's Day. I'd tell my family and friends about this place.

"Assisted Living with Pet-Friendly Atmosphere"
My family member enjoyed the food, and the pet-friendly atmosphere mattered. I'd suggest it to other families, but more services were needed.

"Assisted Living Review"
The kitchen staff changes often, causing problems. Billing issues occurred. Food service is slow. Resident assistants are great. Physical therapist is excellent. Staff is polite. Activities are enjoyable. Director is fantastic. Kitchen service needs improvement.

""Neglected Residents and Dirty Rooms in Assisted Living Home""
My sister stays in a messy room in that place. I've heard residents calling for help, but the workers just don't listen.

"Mixed Feelings Despite Positive Experience"
This place has been a great choice for my parents. They are much more active now. My mom has Alzheimer's and was really unhappy about moving in at first, so she was upset for about a month. But she's feeling more comfortable and settled now. The staff are mostly great. My only problem is that the cleaning isn't as thorough as I'd like. However, the staff are incredibly friendly, and everyone knows my parents' names. Overall, it's been a good experience.

"Amazing staff, even during COVID!"
While our loved one was there, we had a good experience, even during the height of COVID. The staff we interacted with were great—super nice and super helpful. The staff members were probably the best part of our experience.

"Neglect and Disregard: A Troubling Assisted Living Experience"
It wasn't the worst place ever, but I wouldn't return. The place was dirty, and the staff didn't impress me. The food was good, and the apartment was cute. If you can take care of yourself, it's okay. But if you need more help, they fail. My loved one needed more care, but they neglected her. She ended up in the hospital after missing medication for 9 out of 10 days. They didn't even call me. At the hospital, she was filthy, and they said she refused baths. They didn't care about her. When she came back, they left her food untouched. They tried to stop me from moving her, and I had to involve a lawyer. They only cared when I gave them 30 days' notice.

"Assisted Living Facility Tour Disappointing"
I recently visited this community for my dad. It felt rushed. I went on a Saturday afternoon. I wasn't happy. The person giving the tour didn't seem knowledgeable. It didn't seem as good as other places I've seen.

"Great Care and Clean Facility for Dad"
Our time at The Fountains has been great so far! The place looks nice, is clean, and well-kept. They take good care of Dad and always let us know if anything happens. I would tell anyone looking for senior living around here to check them out!
