"Excellent Choice for Senior Living"
My loved one lives at Cedarhurst of Granite City and we're very happy with our decision. The staff really cares about the residents. The food is delicious. Moving in was simple. They interview potential residents. The staff is friendly and they offer great care and activities. I would suggest Cedarhurst of Granite City to my family and friends.

"Lack of care and attention in Assisted Living Facility"
The management here is really bad. Residents aren't looked after properly. They're dishonest, just focused on selling apartments. And if you need help from maintenance or a nurse, good luck. Be wary! It might be a good idea to drop by unexpectedly and check on your family members. Make sure they're getting medication and taking showers regularly. Hold this facility accountable for its actions, because your loved ones deserve the best.

"Mixed feelings about assisted living: Nice place, but pricey and communication issues."
The place is pretty nice, especially when it snows they clear it up quickly. But it's too expensive for what you get. Also, when you pick your meals, they often get it wrong. And when I need to talk to maintenance or the boss lady, they hardly ever call me back.

"Caring staff and good food"
Knowing my parents are being taken care of is priceless. They really do care about my parents. The room sizes are fine, and the food is good with a nice variety. I would recommend this place to others.

"Friendly Manager, Apartments Only, No Patio Homes"
This place only has apartments, no separate houses with patios. I'm not ready for apartment living yet. But, the manager is really friendly and nice.

This place is great because the staff are super friendly. We felt really good about the people who work here. The place is always clean, and there are fun things for our loved one to do. The care they provide is pretty good too.

"Mixed feelings about care, but Fountains offers engaging activities."
"I have a slightly different opinion about this place. My mom needs more care in some ways, but not so much in others. The issue is that she isn't putting in the effort you'd expect during her rehab. The facility itself is good, they encourage her to walk, have musicians visit, and provide other activities. However, she's not participating. Overall, I believe she'd prefer to be at home, and her mental state complicates things.
