"Assisted Living Resident Enjoys Experience but Food Quality Declines"
My loved one lives at The Pointe at Kilpatrick. Overall, she's had a good experience. Most things are fine for her. But the food hasn't been great lately. It seems they serve more processed food.

"Mixed feelings about this assisted living facility"
This place is nice with a good environment and clean rooms. However, they require more paperwork compared to other places, which is a downside.

"Bright and Welcoming Assisted Living"
The facility is cheery, clean, and offers plenty of activities. Apartments are a bit small, but we’re excited for our next visit!

"Lacking Personal Touch in Memory Care"
We might’ve caught the place on a bad day. We’re not convinced it’s right for our mom. When we asked how they’d look after her in Memory Care, it felt like they treat everyone the same, without much personal attention.

"Clean facility, issues with nursing and staff turnover."
Mother stayed 6 months. Nice, clean, but issues with nursing.

"Understaffed and Unprofessional Assisted Living Facility"
This place is seriously understaffed and the staff they do have are not friendly at all. On top of all that, staff members don't even wear name tags, so it's hard to tell who is who. When you question them, they get defensive instead of being helpful. The whole thing just feels unprofessional. My mom was even dropped, not once but twice! It's clear that the administration is overwhelmed and they are not showing any understanding towards what the patients need.

"Great Community, But Nursing Staff Needs Improvement"
My mom lives here and she loves it. She has made lots of friends and they have fun games like bingo and pokeno. Overall, it’s been a great place for her. The only bad thing is the nursing staff. They change a lot, and my mom needs help with her medication. She ended up in the hospital twice because she didn’t get her medicine on time. If your loved one needs strict medical care, this is a big problem. You have to keep calling the nursing station to make sure they get the medicine from the pharmacy and give it as prescribed.

"Mixed Feelings About Welcoming Atmosphere at Assisted Living Facility"
This place is great overall. The only downside is the reception. When I got there, I didn't feel welcomed. Choosing a place like this is hard for families, and how they greet you when you arrive is really important.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Major Improvement and Repair"
It's quite similar to a nursing home and undoubtedly needs better maintenance (peeling paint, overly used furniture).

"Didn't Know About Mobility Rules At This Place"
A buddy of mine stayed at this place for a brief while. But then something happened that got her rushed to the ER. I would have preferred if they'd reached out to me instead of making that decision. Maybe things would have turned out better. While she was there, she did have fun with some of the activities and ate the food they served. Most of the workers were super nice. I didn't know that if you can't move on your own, they ask you to leave.

"Safe, Friendly, and Helpful Staff; Mom Thriving in Community"
This community is really nice, and my mom is doing great here. I feel good knowing she's safe and taken care of. The people who work here are super nice and always ready to help. We had a little problem with her medicines, but we sorted it out. We're happy with how they're looking after her. Everything's been going smoothly for us here, and I'd definitely recommend it.

"Great clean place with friendly staff, but waiting list issue."
The assisted living community was really nice and clean. When I visited with my dad, the people who worked there were really nice to us. But, there's a waiting list, and we wanted a place where my dad could move in sooner.

"Comfort and Care You Can Trust"
Everyone I’ve met here has been really helpful and friendly. When my husband first moved in, my family was kept updated about how he was doing and adjusting right from the first day. I’m impressed with how clean everything is. Putting my husband here was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but knowing he’s being well cared for and watched over helps me not to worry. I’m grateful for places like Pointe at Kilpatrick that truly care about the people they look after.

"Attractive Facility, Unbalanced Gender Mix Limits Memory Care Access"
The place looks good, rooms are comfy, and it's in a great location. However, moving to the memory care section wasn't easy because it’s all females. This is a minus because two women would have to move out in order to make space for one man.

"Decent Living Community, But Not Ideal"
We were looking at various communities for assisted living, and this one was on our list. However, compared to the others, this one didn't seem as fancy or nice. It felt a bit below the standard of the rest. Not to say it's a bad place to live, it just didn't meet our specific needs.
