"Assisted Living Facility Fails in Urgent Care, Ignores Emergency Protocols"
My mom was staying at this facility. I went to visit her on Mother's Day and she was dirty with ants crawling all over her and her room. Her feet were noticeably swollen and she seemed confused. I requested them to send her to the hospital but was told to wait until the facility's doctor could see her. The next morning, I made the same request, only to receive the same response. The nurse said she’d check my mom’s medications. I visited again around 1 pm, receiving yet again the same response - wait for their doctor. I went back to my mom's room and she was still confused, but then she began to have a seizure. The facility’s nurses seemed clueless about what to do. I kept insisting to turn her to her side but they ignored me. The lead nurse took over 5 minutes to arrive and decided to call 911 only then. When 911 instructed them to turn her on her side, they eventually followed the guidance, but it was 10 minutes after the seizure started. Despite my best efforts, I was unable to turn her on my own as they merely watched.

"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
We chose this place because they accept Medicare and a relative had a good experience before. But they need to work on talking with us better. The food isn't good at all, and they've changed my family member's room twice since moving in.

"Empty and outdated facility with fake residents during tour."
During the tour, hardly any people lived in the assisted living place. It looked old and dark inside. They put mannequins on the sofas to pretend like there were residents sitting there.

"Happy with Wellshire: Safe, Responsive, and Helpful"
We’re really happy with the Wellshire. We moved my Aunt there about 9 months ago. Their updates during COVID have been super helpful. We feel she’s safe and it’s one less thing to worry about. They’ve always been quick to respond to us.

"Lacking Supervision and Care for Memory Care Residents"
This place isn't good for people with memory problems. The staff isn't right for what's needed. Residents wander around and take things from rooms, mess them up, and eat from the food containers because there's no one to watch them.

"Neglected care and bad food at assisted living facility"
This place was a letdown. There didn't seem to be enough staff. The food was poor quality, with hotdogs served way too often. No one was ensuring that my mom received help with daily activities like brushing her hair or teeth. The management reacted harshly and it took them too long to do anything to fix the problems.

"A Quiet, Clean Community"
This place is really clean, and my family member has a fantastic room. The only issue is the food—it's not great. The community is in a quiet spot, and the staff are professional and attentive. When you visit, check out the dining room during mealtime. Don't be fooled by the entrance; explore the whole place. Make sure the food and activities suit your loved one.

"Food Quality Issues"
At Wealshire, the food is really bad. Even though residents can have special diets, the kitchen messes it up.

"Wealshire Fails to Refund $6000 Despite Multiple Promises"
Our family is really worried about how the Wealshire handles bill payments. I work in healthcare and this is an ongoing issue. Since June 2014, the bosses at the Wealshire confirmed multiple times - in writing, no less - that they owe our family more than $6000 for the care they once gave our now-passed mom. Regardless, they've constantly failed to pay us back. In the past year, my sister and I have emailed the Wealshire staff, even high-ranking bosses, over 30 times about this unpaid debt. Unfortunately, we've had no luck getting the payment. The Wealshire simply does not answer our emails most of the time. Occasionally, they'll respond, apologize, and promise to pay, but we never see the money. This isn't a one-time thing either, it's happened a bunch of times, with the most recent being January 2015. It's really alarming because it feels like the Wealshire either doesn't know how to run their business and pay owed money, or they're simply hoping we'll get tired and stop asking. Because of all this, we're compelled to share our experience. We want to warn others about the Wealshire, specifically about how they handle bill payments. We've learned the hard way that we can't count on the Wealshire to pay us back, even when they've admitted to owing us the money.

"Beware--The Wealshire Won't Repay Family Owed Money!"
Our family is worried about how the Wealshire handles bills. I work in health care and this isn't just a story - it's our real, ongoing problem since June 2014. The people in charge at the Wealshire have put in writing many times that they owe us more than $6000 back from when our late mother was cared for at the nursing home. But, they keep failing to return this money. This past year, my sibling and I have sent over 30 emails to the Wealshire workers, even to those at the top, asking about this unpaid money. We haven't gotten anywhere. Even though they either don't reply or say they will return the money and apologize, the check never arrives. This continues to happen, even as recently as January 2015. It worries us. Either the Wealshire can't properly run their business and pay back a simple family refund, or they're hoping we'll just tire out and disappear. So, we want to share our experience with the Wealshire and warn others about how they handle and repay debt. We've learned we can't trust them to pay us back the money they vowed in writing they owe us.

"Lack of Support and Poor Conditions at Assisted Living Facility"
This place is simply awful. The way they treated me, and my wife? Absolutely unacceptable. This place is like a pen just holding everyone. They keep saying that we will have all this support, but when you ask them where this support staff is they say they've never made such claims. The condition of this facility is pathetic, it's a complete mess.

"Awful Treatment and Lies at Assisted Living Facility"
This place is simply awful. I can't stress enough how badly both my wife and I were treated. It's like a pen for holding animals. They promise you all kinds of support for your loved one, but then when you ask about it, they deny ever mentioning it. The upkeep of the place is neglected, it's a total mess.

"Rehab commendable, skilled nursing lacks respect and efficient admin."
My experience here was pretty awful. The rehab services were great, they couldn't have done a better job! We've also heard nice things about the assisted living portion. However, the skilled care section gave us problems. The staff would converse in Spanish amongst themselves and around the residents, even after we told them it bothered us. It doesn't seem like any staff, even the head nurse, were being directed appropriately or behaving respectfully. The meals were rather disappointing, as they claimed there'd be a choice in meals but it never happened. The decor was outdated with burned out bulbs. Additionally, the billing was a mess. They had the wrong doctor listed for six weeks and took a month to bring the correct one in, though he was a part of their team. The activities and therapists were admirable and did some great work! Even with them, my loved one was scared to voice any complaints about the disrespectful care given. The care in the skilled nursing was decent but lacked respect and dignity.

"Language barrier and unprofessionalism spoiled our experience."
This place assigned my relative to a skilled care area where all the staff spoke Spanish. There's nothing wrong with that language, but not when used around residents who don't understand it. Moreover, they'd cover their noses coming out of the bathroom if a resident had made a bowel movement.

"Variety lacking, good food, personalized care; suitable for Alzheimer's."
They could have more types of exercises because people have different abilities. The food is pretty good, and if you don't like what they're serving, they'll make sure to have something you like. They even ask about your preferences and try to include them in the menu sometimes. They provide extra help for Alzheimer's patients because they're classified as sheltered care, which means they can offer more assistance.

"Dad's Health Improved and He Feels Well-Cared For Here"
Overall, I'm really happy with this place. My dad looks great lately, and while his recent epidural pain treatment probably helped, I believe his time here has made a difference too. He says he likes how they take care of him.
