"Care Home Review: Dignity and Comfort in Question"
It’s really sad and upsetting to see folks just sitting around in a circle with only a loud TV for company. The caregiver here doesn’t speak English well, and I can’t figure out how these people, who already have a hard time talking because of things like dementia, are supposed to chat with the caregiver. It’s hard to believe they can keep their self-respect and stay comfy. If you’re looking for quality care, you might want to check this place out.

"Upsetting Care Conditions at Assisted Living Facility"
To see elders quietly sitting around a blaring TV with nothing else happening is deeply upsetting and disturbing. The caregiver present on-site struggles with English, which leaves me wondering how these dementia-stricken residents can manage to communicate their needs effectively, as communication itself is challenging for them already. I find it hard to believe that they can maintain their dignity and comfort under such conditions. If you're seeking quality care, I'd suggest a visit to this facility.

"Clean Assisted Living Facility, But Lacks Engaging Activities"
This place is only for assisted living. The people live there were mostly just sitting around in a circle with a TV on, but not many were really watching it. The staff was friendly and the facility was very clean. However, my mom wouldn't have much to do there.

"Medication Mishap and Poor English at Assisted Living Facility"
But in reality, we were lucky if we saw 2 caregivers at once. One didn't understand English at all, and another spoke very little of it. The owner Theresa was the only one who seemed to get it. After spending an hour discussing Grandma's medications with the nurse - who spoke good English - I discovered after 3 days that Grandma's weekly medication box was incorrect and had 9 pills that weren’t hers. She hadn't been receiving the right pills or doses since her move-in. The nurse doesn't work full days either, only a few hours each day. While the place and residents are kept neat, it seemed the residents barely interacted. They just sit in recliners in front of the TV. If that's all your loved one requires, then this might work for you.

"Profoundly Unhappy with Care and Communication at Facility"
We really thought this could be Gram's new home: There were supposed to be 3 caregivers living on-site, a nurse working Monday through Friday, and chances for her to socialize with other residents. But, we were only ever able to spot 2 caregivers at once. One of them couldn't speak or understand English and the other only understood a bit. Only the owner, They, seemed to be able to communicate effectively. After an hour-long meeting about Gram's medication needs with the English-speaking nurse, we discovered three days later that the pills in her weekly pill organizer were mixed up. One day even had 9 pills that didn't belong to her. She hadn't been given the right pills or doses since we moved her in. Also, turns out the nurse isn't there all day, just a few hours. The building and the residents were clean, but the residents didn't interact much. They're mostly left in recliners in front of the TV. If that's all you want for your loved one, then this might be a good fit.

"Amazing Care and Comfort at Theresa’s Assisted Living"
My brother-in-law moved into Theresa’s. The first day was tough for him. He came from California to be with family. He was really confused when he woke up, but the home care staff were amazing in how they helped him. It’s only been three days, and he’s already doing much better. He says the people are super nice and he loves the food. His room is way bigger than the one he had in California. The home is beautiful with wonderful gardens to sit in. What I really like is that we can visit anytime without notice. They prefer we don’t come during meal times because people will talk instead of eat, which makes sense. We can drop by anytime. We are so thankful for the care and how comfortable he feels in such a short time.

"Excellent care and comfort with flexible visiting hours"
My brother-in-law moved into Theresa's on Sunday, June 26th, 2016. The first day was tough for him since he had come all the way from California to be with family. On Monday, he was really confused, but the caregivers were amazing in how they helped him. Even though it’s only been 3 days, he’s already made a big improvement. He says everyone is really nice and he loves the food. His room is huge compared to his old place in California. The home is beautiful, and there are lovely gardens to enjoy. What I really appreciate is that we can visit anytime without giving notice. They just ask that we avoid meal times so everyone can eat in peace. We’re so grateful for the great care and how comfortable he is already. Thank you, Theresa and the staff!

"Decent Care, Courteous Inhabitants, Needs Urgent Repairs"
The place was tidy and the inhabitants kept well, but it does have maintenance issues like shaky railings, decaying outside panels, and it's an old building.
