Victory Centre of Galewood

"Mixed feelings about Victory Centre but improving communication and activities."

Overall, I think Victory Centre is pretty good. It seems like they know what they're doing. As things get better in the world, I think Victory Centre will improve too. They might start doing activities outside the place. It's in a nice area in Oak Park, with a vet nearby for my loved one's dog. When I go in to drop off food or take my loved one to appointments, it looks clean. I have two people I can talk to if I need help, the director and the liaison, and they've both been great. But sometimes, it's hard to get in touch with the nurse right away. At first, we had some trouble understanding each other, but it's getting better. My loved one doesn't really like the food much, except for the soup and eggs. The main meals aren't their favorite. Because of Covid, there haven't been many things to do, but it seems like that's changing. We're hopeful because they showed us a schedule of what they used to do before Covid.
