"Mixed feelings but recommended for assisted living care."
My family member stays at Victory Centre of River Woods and it's been mostly positive. Not perfect, but I'd suggest it to others.

"Hit or Miss: Victory Centre Assisted Living Review"
The Victory Centre is okay, depending on your loved one's needs. The staff is mostly nice and professional, but sometimes neglect needs to be addressed before it's fixed.

"Overcrowded Facility, but Staff Know Residents Well"
When I went to check out this place, they were having a big BBQ party. A lot of the people who live there were hanging out in the shared spaces. It was kind of crowded, but I noticed that the workers seemed to know everyone's name and what they were up to.

"Friendly Place with Crowded Vibes"
The place was nice and welcoming, but it felt a bit too busy. The rooms were tidy, and the staff was really friendly.

"Satisfactory Dining and Care at Grandma's Facility"
My Grandma lives in this facility and her thoughts on it mean a lot to me. In general, I really like it. The staff is friendly, the place is well structured, and they involve themselves really well. One thing I'd like to focus on is the food. It's been set up nicely to encourage socializing and creating a pleasant atmosphere. My grandma doesn't complain much and neither do I. I'm happy that the people there listen to her suggestions for meals, she's pretty tough when it comes to food. Sometimes, the choices are not the best but she often likes what's served, that's good enough for me. They offer different main dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, giving more choices and freedom. That's hard to mess up. Being a nurse, I know how important food is for someone's mental, physical, and spiritual health.

"Occasional Shortages and Slow Response Overall Positive Experience"
The people who work here are really nice and helpful. The food isn't always enough for everyone, but mostly it's okay. Sometimes, they take a while to answer when you need something.

"Friendly staff but food could be improved"
My Mom just moved to the Riverwoods Victory Center. She is getting used to it pretty well, but she doesn't like the food very much. She has the second meal seating and gets smaller portions, and the food is dry and hard to chew. The staff is really friendly and her room is lovely.

"Displeased Reviewer Warns Against Uncaring Assisted Living Facility"
I'm truly let down by this place. I've seen them messing with the healthcare choices of folks living here. In my estimation, they don't care much about what's best for the elderly residents. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone.

"Severe Disappointment in Assisted Living Facility's Care"
The folks running this place, including the higher-ups, are completely. They really don't seem to care about the people living here. This place really let me down and I certainly wouldn't suggest it to anyone.
