"Positive tour but better fit found elsewhere for loved one."

We had a nice tour at Victory Centre of Vernon Hills. It seemed good, but another place suited our loved one better.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"

The visiting nurse practitioner is excellent. Executive staff is trying amidst upheaval. Initial entry was polite and helpful. The facility is clean, organized, and feels safe. However, nursing staff lacks communication skills. Dining services are understaffed, and food quality is a frequent complaint. Half of the direct care staff are good, but the others are agency-hired and struggle with language barriers, affecting communication and safety. Main staff communicate well, but overall, the working staff's performance is inconsistent. The reviewer dislikes the nursing staff, feeling they treat residents as burdens.

"Friendly and Beautiful Assisted Living with Room Layout Preferences"

I really liked Victory Centre of Vernon Hills. It was a very pretty place, even though it's older. The courtyard was beautiful. Everyone was really nice the staff treated me great. They spent time talking to me and showed me everything during the tour. There were a lot of activities to do. Overall, I thought it was a fantastic place. The only thing is, I liked how the rooms were set up at another place better. They were more open and less divided, which made it easier for my loved one to get around.

"Comfortable assisted living with plenty of activities; highly recommended!"

This place is worth checking out. The community here is friendly and helpful. It's a really nice place to visit. There are plenty of activities for the residents to enjoy. The common areas are also very nice, always bustling with people, which is great. I would definitely suggest this community to others.

Uh uh, no way. They're asking way too much money. [Name removed] gave us a lot of info, but just getting near the place made us doubtful.

"Very pleased"

The staff were really nice to my dad during his short stay. The food is good, with healthy choices. The place is clean, and they have daily activities. It's a smaller community, and my dad felt comfortable touring it. We're eager to see how things progress.

"Ideal Place for My Brother: Clean, Friendly, Convenient Location"

My family and I are so happy we found this place. They're really good at taking care of people like my brother. The people who work here are great — they're always ready to help and they're really nice. The place is always clean and they take good care of it. The food is good, and my brother likes it. The other people who live here are nice and like to talk to each other, but they're mostly older than my brother. He's used the dentist, foot doctor, and barber here and he's been happy with all of them. He's also gone on a couple of trips and he's enjoyed them. The place is in a perfect spot for us because it's halfway between where I live and where my sister lives.

My mom is really happy here. Everything is going well. The activities are nice, and the food is good. The place is kept clean, and the staff is kind and helpful. We're happy here and would recommend it.

"High Prices but Clean Environment and Friendly Staff"

When we got there, we got a pamphlet and saw the prices were really high. The community looked clean and the staff were nice. The person who welcomed me at the start treated me very nicely. The pamphlet showed the meal plans and activities they offer, but we didn't continue with our tour.

"Great Staff and Fun Activities!"

The Victory Centre of Vernon Hills has great staff. They answered all my questions during my visit. The place was really organized, and I loved the activities and amenities available. The guide was friendly and well-informed. I definitely suggest taking a tour of this community.

"Pleasant Experience at Victory Centre"

I'm really pleased with it. The staff is super friendly. My dad's been there for about a month and a half. We're working out a few minor issues. I'd recommend the Victory Centre. It's a great place—clean, welcoming, and caring. Everything's going smoothly.
