"Mixed Staff Care, Need for Advocacy Highlighted in Assisted Living"
I think families should know they must be present and supportive. If their loved one can't make good decisions or speak up, this might not be the right place. They'll need to clean their own apartment and call if housekeeping misses their weekly schedule. Some of the nursing staff cares, but others don't want to be bothered. I'd recommend this place only for very mobile individuals without memory problems who speak up about their needs.

"Assisted Living Facility Shows Improvements"
Every time I visit, I notice changes happening. That's good. But some things aren't as good for now. For example, we don't have a bus to take us to the store anymore. Also, there's no teacher for our exercise class, which we really need. But overall, I hope things get better with the new management.

"Mixed Feelings About Waterford Estates"
Waterford Estates is a pretty nice place. But, I didn’t like how they treated us. We were in the parking lot, ready to pay a deposit, when they called and said they couldn’t take my loved one because she needed too much care. I wish they’d told us during the tour instead of calling abruptly.

"Assisted Living Review: Comfortable, Clean, Good Care, Some Staff Issues"
This community is really nice. It's clean with a beautiful view, and my friend has her own porch to enjoy. The staff takes good care of the residents' security. Sometimes, staff could be a bit rude when my friend needed help with the TV or other things, and I had to step in. But overall, they're good here. When my friend first moved in, repairs took a while. The food is healthy with a good variety, though there were a couple of billing issues for meals she didn't take. They offer activities like exercise and church services, and there's even a swimming pool. Communication with the family is excellent. I was impressed from the start, and after looking at other places, this was the best choice. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends, and it would be my first choice for myself if I ever needed it.

"Friendly Staff and Excellent Medical Assistance"
The community is in a convenient location for our family, and all the staff we've met recently have been very nice and friendly. The medical assistance our loved one has received has been excellent. The value for the money is good. Although we haven't eaten there ourselves, our loved one doesn't complain, so we assume the meals are good.

"Nice, Neat, and Clean"
My Dad is doing well here so far. The dining service could be better because his dinner sometimes arrives cold. The food is good, though, and he’s satisfied with it. There are usually 2 or 3 meal choices, which adds some variety. The staff is helpful and quick to find answers. The building is nice, neat, clean, and odor-free. They offer fun activities like game nights and movies. Based on our experience, I’d recommend them.

"Mom Thrives in New Assisted Living Community"
Mom moved into this community a little over a month ago, and she really loves it. There are lots of activities, outings, friendly residents, and helpful staff. She came here to be around people and enjoy activities she couldn't do anymore because she stopped driving. Mom says she wishes she had started this new chapter in her life sooner. As her family, we’re so glad she’s happy and has people around her every day.

"Friendly staff and promises kept"
I haven’t joined any of the activities since I’m not a resident, but I helped a friend move into Waterford Estates. It’s only been three weeks, and they’ve done everything they promised. The staff is really friendly and, most importantly, they connect well with my friend.

"Decent Place with Room for Improvement"
I had a look around this place while considering it for my mom's care. The workers were really friendly and they were able to answer any questions we had. The food they serve seems like it's pretty good. They offer a great range of activities, including an indoor pool for residents, and lots of social events. But the place looks a bit too dim and definitely needs to be brighter for residents. I'd suggest other families should come check it out for themselves.

"“Comfortable Choice”"
The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful. They have some activities, but I’d like to see more options. My loved one enjoys the food, and they’ll bring it to your room for a fee. The rooms here are bigger than in most other places we checked out. The community stays clean, and I’d recommend it.

"Decent facility but needs more staff. Activities and cleanliness good."
This place is pretty good, but it needs more staff. Some of the workers seem really busy and not as careful as they could be. They have plenty of things to do and they keep the place clean. My dad likes some of the food but not all of it, although it's cooked right. Overall, I'd say it's a good place to consider.

"Nice place but too pricey for us. Base price misleading."
We checked out this place when we were searching for choices. We thought it was good, pretty nice. But, the price they advertised was just for the basics. If you wanted anything extra, you had to pay more. Plus, they had different levels of care that added even more to the bill. It ended up being way too expensive for what we were hoping for. We wanted something that included everything without all the extra costs.

"Great Food, Care, and Comfort"
Two years ago, I took my 91-year-old uncle on a tour of senior living places, hoping he would decide to move. He had been living alone in a condo with 17 steps for the past twelve years, but he wasn’t ready to move at that time. Last September, he got sick, went to the hospital, and we realized he couldn’t go back to the condo. I was really glad we had seen Waterford Estates and knew it was the right place for him. He moved into a nice studio apartment and is loving his new lifestyle. The rent includes two meals a day, and the dining room and food choices are fantastic. He needs help with his medications, bathing, and putting on compression stockings, and they take care of everything without extra charges. We are all very happy.

"Waterford Estates: Friendly, Caring, and Accommodating Assisted Living"
I really like Waterford Estates. The people who work there are nice, caring, and professional. They make sure my wife and I know what's happening with my dad. And when we call, they always answer. The food is tasty, and they help out if someone can't make it to meals or needs their food cut up small.

"Unattended Concerns and Unhygienic Conditions at Assisted Living Facility"
Poor Management and Unhygienic Conditions at This Assisted Living Facility The management at this assisted living facility leaves much to be desired as they ignore the residents' worries. I can't get them to respond to my calls, and, unbelievably, I've even been hung up on. The building itself shows signs of wear and tear, and many of the repairs and improvements they promised me before moving in are undone months later. Cleanliness is a major issue. Dirty, stained chairs make certain areas downright unappealing. Often, I find myself cleaning my own chair in the dining room since it may have leftovers on it. I've become more skeptical about the safety of the food as well. Many times, the food feels unusually warm with no cooling or ventilation system around, and they don't even properly wash the fruits before serving them - particularly the melons. I've been sick quite a few times lately, and I noticed I felt better once I stopped having the fruit. They had planned to switch off the air conditioning system at the start of October, but they jumped the gun, and it's still quite hot outside - hotter inside my flat because the AC won't be turned back on. My sleep is often disrupted due to the loud noises from the resident above me at 2 or 4 in the morning. Although the management promised a room change for either of us, nothing has been done so far. Considering the high cost of living here and the number of people leaving, I’d recommend thinking twice before deciding to move in.

"Comfortable and Welcoming Assisted Living Experience"
My mom tried out this place but didn't stay permanently. She preferred living at home. We picked it for the trial because we liked the building, her apartment, and the pool. Her laundry room was nearby, and her apartment was on the first floor, so no stairs. They were very friendly and supportive of Mom. They included her in activities. It was good.

"Affordable Assisted Living with Convenient Amenities"
I'm not an expert on many others, but this place might deserve 5 stars for the value. Since they're a non-profit, their prices seem lower than others we checked out. They have doctors available on-site during regular hours, which is handy if you need medical attention. There's a pool, but they prefer you not to swim alone. They offer water exercises, but if you're into lap swimming, it's not ideal. You get two meals a day, and you can pick which ones. If you want a third meal, you'll need to pay extra. Another perk is that if you require more care, they offer Alzheimer's care at an additional cost.
