"Cheerful Assisted Living Near Family with Excellent Food and Activities"
My dad really enjoyed living here. It's just 5 minutes from family, and it's a cheerful, friendly place. The food is great, and there are lots of activities.

"Endearing Caregivers Brightened Mom's Days"
Mom lived at Westbrook assisted living for 3-4 years. As her memory faded, the transition to Memory care was smooth. The staff provided excellent care. At the end, my Mother didn't recognize me, but she always smiled for her caregivers.

Our family visited Westbrook Senior Living and liked the community and tour. However, we felt more comfortable choosing a different facility for our loved one.

"Unsatisfied With Non-Medical Staff Playing Doctor "
Steer clear of Westbrook Senior Living. It's definitely not worth recommending. The decision to put my mom into hospice was suggested by the Assisted Living Director and Nursing Director, who surely aren't doctors.

"Refused Care without checking, Found Better Facility"
In our latest talk with this place, they said they're not taking in people with Memory Care for Vascular Dementia anymore. This doesn't add up because they never checked them in the first place. Lucky for us, we found a much better place.

"Other residents seem really happy; expected more assistance."
Chose for proximity, expected more assistance. Nice, clean, happy residents.

"Mixed Experience with Surges in Cost and Poor Food Quality"
This place is new and seems to be figuring things out. The food isn't tasty. A day before we signed the contract, they raised the prices. Felt like we were tricked.

"Nice Community, Friendly Residents, But Far from Preferred Hospital"
Westbrook Senior Living is super new and everyone there is really nice. the stuff, who works there, is awesome. The only downside is that even though it’s close to where I live, it’s kinda far from the hospital my parents like.

"Clean and friendly, but found better fit for mom elsewhere."
We visited many places, including Westbrook Senior Living. It was clean and tidy, and the person showing us around was nice and helpful. However, we found another place that suited my mom's needs better.

"Expensive Westbrook Neglects Residents Despite Nice Facilities"
My mom or dad was in Westbrook and fell down a lot because there wasn't enough people to take care of them. They would sometimes be in a dirty bed or wet adult diapers. Even though the building looks new and the food is good, the people living there aren't taken care of properly because there aren't enough workers or training. The cost is way too much and it seems like they care more about making money than taking care of the people who live there.

"Discovering Suitable Care in Mom's New Home"
My mom is liking her new place. She really enjoys the tasty food and all the fun stuff they do there. She thinks they don't need to make any changes and that the workers are doing well. I notice that they always keep the place tidy.

"Facility Lacks Proper Care for Bigger Inhabitants"
My Dad was staying in this assisted living center. The staff claimed they couldn't look after him because he weighed slightly over 200 pounds and was supposedly too big for them to handle. The very next day after he moved in, they rang me saying they were struggling to get him out of bed and that I needed to come and help him get ready. Throughout the month he was there, they never started him on any kind of physical therapy. They also hardly ever involved him in their activities, or even tried to inform him about what was on their schedule. He didn't stay there even for a full month before we transferred him to another place where he's more content.
