"Friendly Recommendation"
My daughter chose this place. I'd recommend it to my friend and suggest she schedule a visit.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Aster Place"
I don't think Aster Place is the best choice right now. The care they give my loved one seems good, but we don't feel like we're getting our money's worth. The staff talks to us okay, but they could do better. It would be great if they followed up more on what the doctor says. They serve three meals a day with options. It would be better if they took my loved one to the dining room for meals instead of just bringing food to their room. That way, they could spend more time with other residents. After 7 pm, we have to wait more than 15 minutes for staff to let us in. They should be quicker about it.

"Highly recommended for its appearance, staff, and food quality."
The place looks as good as advertised. Best we saw in Lafayette. Staff helpful. Food praised by aunt. Room delivery $3 extra.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living"
They’re almost a perfect 5/5, but the new management is slow to address issues. The bus broke down without urgency, and employees parked in guest spots. Meals aren’t great for the cost. Still, I’m pleased with the rent price.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Care Good, Organization Needs Improvement"
Most of the staff is really nice. They care about the residents. But sometimes they don't have enough people working, and things are not well organized or managed. Even though my mom gets good care, she doesn’t always get the care she needs. Sometimes they miss her showers, and when they're only supposed to do two showers a week, that's not okay. The food is usually pretty good.

"Aster Place Stands Out with Spacious Rooms and Great Activities"
Aster Place seemed really nice. It was my favorite among all the places we visited. The rooms looked bigger, and I enjoyed the activities more.

"Activities Disappointing, Communication Lacking at Aster Place Assisted Living"
Aster Place looks nice, my apartment is great, but the atmosphere isn't what I expected. The activities are still limited, and when I go, I'm disappointed. There's not much communication, maybe because I live in a cottage away from the main building, but I feel ignored. When I have questions, I'm not sure who to call. It would help if they handed out a staff directory or something.

"Excellent Assisted Living Facility with Caring Staff and Great Amenities"
Aster Place is a nice place to live. The staff are kind and the food is good. The rooms are a good size and you can bring your pets. They have a gym where you can exercise. They also have a special place for people with Alzheimer’s that is safe and secure.

"Beautiful but Far"
This place is really nice. The only reason we didn’t pick it is because everything is on one floor, and you have to walk a super long way from your apartment to the dining hall.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short, Dad Died in Parking Lot"
My dad passed away because he fell in their parking lot. If a kitchen worker hadn’t gone out for a smoke, who knows how long he would've been there. They seem really happy and inviting at first, even using residents singing to a pianist to make you feel good. But they can only take care of older folks who don’t need a lot of help beyond meals.
