"Slow Maintenance and Helper Turnover at Beech Grove Meadows"
Beech Grove Meadows and Garden Homes takes a long time to fix things like showers and trash cans. Mom wants to find a new place to live because the helpers keep leaving. The maintenance crew isn't good at solving problems—they promised a lot but didn't deliver.

"Staff Rebuilding, Nurses and Caregivers Excellent, Food Service Improving"
The staff is getting better, but it's not perfect yet. This is especially true for housekeeping and maintenance. The nurses and CNAs are great - very skilled and caring. Each of our regular caregivers is friendly and helpful. Most of them do more than expected. Food service has a lot of new workers, so it’s getting better as they learn the job. 4o

"Mixed Feelings at Beech Grove"
I liked Beech Grove—it’s a nice place. My family member enjoyed independent living and made friends. Due to Covid, it’s tricky to assess their usual activities. The main issue was slow response to my calls. Being over 100 miles away, I wished contacting them was easier.

"Not Recommended Assisted Living Facility"
I’m not very impressed with Beech Grove. They give residents call buttons, but I don’t know when they’re broken. My dad was on the floor for 45 minutes, and Tracy didn’t seem to care. We paid for meals we didn’t receive one day, and she was more worried about a delivery fee. There’s a hoarder next door who collects trash from other places. I believe my parents have roaches, and they said it’s our problem to take care of. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend them.

"Nice Manager, But Facility Too Small for Social Moms"
The main boss is really nice. There are only 16 rooms, it's way too small for my Mom who likes to socialize.

"Affordable but worn assisted living; friendly staff."
This place, owned by the same company as Rosegate, isn't as well kept. The outside and inside look old. It's cheaper here, and the staff is nice.

"Mixed Experience with Beech Grove Assisted Living Move-In Issues"
Beech Grove Assisted Living and Garden Homes has been mostly positive. However, when we first moved in, the garbage disposal wasn't working, which was disappointing. Some things should have been taken care of before we arrived. The apartment itself is nice, with new carpet and fresh paint. Overall, our experience has been good, aside from the initial move-in issues.

"Move-In Issues"
Beech Grove Assisted Living and Garden Homes is doing well. The only issue was that the garbage disposal wasn’t working when we moved in. Some things should have been taken care of before move-in. "Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere at Beech Grove Assisted Living"
Beech Grove Assisted Living does an excellent job overall! The community is clean, well-maintained, and has a nice, friendly vibe. It's a small, tight-knit place, so it’s not too big or overwhelming. The staff is very kind and takes great care of the residents, paying close attention to each person's needs. I really trust them to look after my loved ones well. The only small issue we've had is sometimes it's hard to reach specific staff members. But they're working on it and appreciate feedback from families.

Daniel B,
"Comfortable Living with Helpful Services at Beech Grove Meadows"
I've been living at Beech Grove Meadows for a month now, after moving from a senior community that didn’t offer any services. I don’t drive, so Beech Grove Meadows helps by taking me to medical appointments with their bus, as long as I give them advance notice. They also organize shopping trips and outings to movies, plays, and concerts. I’m a widower with a heart condition, and my doctor recommended assisted living. The general manager, Becky Chambers, put together a plan just for me. I get my meals in the dining room, where I sit with two other widowers. Becky also arranged for Sandra, a friendly cleaning lady from Mexico, to help me with cleaning every Monday. Since I can't drive because of my heart condition, Bill the bus driver takes me to my medical appointments if I let him know about two weeks ahead of time. The meals here aren’t gourmet, but they are better than the usual institutional food. I’m happy to call Beech Grove Meadows my home.

Daniel B,
"Beech Grove Meadows: My New Home with Great Services"
Beech Grove Meadows has been my home for a month since I moved from a senior community that didn't offer any services. I don't drive, but with advanced notice, Beech Grove Meadows takes me on their bus to medical appointments. They also have shopping trips and outings to movies, plays, and concerts. I'm a widower with a heart problem. My doctor suggested assisted living, and BGM's general manager, Becky Chambers, created a special plan for me. I get my meals in the dining room, where I eat with two other widowers. Becky also arranged for Sandra, a kind cleaning lady from Mexico, to help me clean every Monday. Because of my heart trouble, I can't drive, but Bill the bus driver takes me to medical appointments if he gets about two weeks' notice. The meals aren't made by a four-star chef, but they're better than institutional food. I'm happy to call Beech Grove Meadows my home.

The place is nice, but we worry about socializing and getting to the dining room during bad weather. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the food.
