"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
My mom's here, but the new boss and nurse boss aren't great. They just stay in their offices and don't see that we're not happy. The place is dirty, food's bad and repeats, kitchen people are rude, and there's not much to do. Some nurses and aides are good, except for one. But they can only do so much. For what we're paying, it's not worth it. Probably gonna move mom out soon.

"Clean Facility, Lacks Outings"
The place is super clean, but they should organize more outings beyond the facility, like additional shopping trips.

"Understaffed Assisted Living with High Costs"
We picked Brookdale South Bend because my mom needed help, and we got a discount. Even with that, it's pricey. I don't think they have enough staff for all the residents. Because of this, communication hasn't been good.

"Brookdale: Responsive Staff, Room for Improvement"
Overall, I think Brookdale has been doing well since my loved one moved in. We were told some things would happen, like internet access, but they haven’t yet. Still, the staff has been really good. They’re responsive and helpful, so I hope we can find solutions for my loved one’s needs.

"Great Assisted Living with Amenities and Lovely Outdoor Court!"
Really friendly place with lots of cool stuff included. They think about what residents need and have plenty of activities. The shared areas look nice, especially the private dining spots for family get-togethers. The apartments are a bit small, but there’s a whole community space to enjoy. The outdoor court is beautiful, and you can do gardening too.

"Assisted Living Oasis: Welcoming, Amenity-Rich, and Community-Centered"
We felt really welcomed here. They offer lots of stuff with the basic service, like activities and things for us to think about. They have all kinds of services depending on what people need. We liked how nice all the places where everyone hangs out look. We especially liked the private dining rooms you can use for family get-togethers. The apartments are a tad small, but there's plenty of other space to enjoy around the place. The outside area is beautiful, and there are cool things to do outside, like gardening.

"Unfortunately Did Not Work Out For Us"
My father-in-law stayed here for just nine days. They said they could meet his care needs, but we had to move him. Without his medical restrictions, this community could have been a good fit. It’s a nice place with friendly people.

"Mixed Feelings about Assisted Living Facility"
The food was alright, but the portions were too small. Not many activities available. Didn't seem to prioritize time for dementia residents. Staff was nice. Noticed areas for improvement. Individual care plans were lacking. Suitable if little attention needed.

"A Clean and Friendly Place"
We visited this community to find care for a family member. The facility was well-kept and clean. All the staff we met were friendly and professional. However, I don't think the care was the best fit for what my loved one needed at the time. Overall, it seems like a nice place and is definitely worth checking out!

"Exceptional Care and Remodeled Facility"
The staff is super attentive. My loved one thinks they’re very caring, so I’d say they’re exceptional. The recent facility remodel is really nice. However, activities could use more variety. Food is a hit!

"Great Value and Care"
The place is now called Brookdale. When my mom stayed there for a short time, it was wonderful. The staff did everything to keep you happy. The rooms were neat and clean. It cost less than half of other places in town but offered so much more.

"Warm and welcoming place for my loved one and his dog"
Sterling House has done a great job looking after my family member. It's clean and nice, and all the staff are super friendly. What really stood out to me was how they allowed my dad to bring his dog, and they go out of their way to assist him in taking care of it.

"Clean, caring, but pricey assisted living; almost perfect for mom."
This place is small, but it's nice and clean. The staff is really caring. We didn't choose to put my mom here, but that's not because this place had any problems. I actually liked it here. The only downside was that it was expensive.
