"Friendly Staff, Some Food Issues, Overall Good Experience"
The staff is always nice and friendly. They answer any questions you have and pick up the phone whenever you call. We had some problems at first with the new doctor, so now we just take her to her regular doctors. The nurses are perfectly fine, no issues there. Sometimes the food is pretty good, but other times it’s just a piece of bread with some lunchmeat. That’s the one thing she complains about. But overall, no big issues to worry about.

"Limited Visits, Quarantine Frustrations, and Corporate Hurdles at Facility"
I'm really upset that my dad hasn't been able to have visits from outside - he's been stuck in quarantine three times, each for 14 days. It's just not fair! They're using the number of cases to decide when to open up, which doesn't make sense to me at all. The more tests they do, the more cases they find, but that doesn't mean things are getting worse! In Indiana, they say 7 cases is okay, and we're below that, so why can't we see our family? There has to be a better way to balance things. People need to be able to see their loved ones in person, not just through a screen! And why can't they even play bingo during COVID? It feels like this company only cares about protecting itself. I've tried talking to the regional representatives, but it seems like they just keep passing the buck up the corporate ladder. Oh, and on Father's Day, things were at a low point, but we still couldn't get anyone to move them. It's frustrating beyond belief!

"Smooth process from inquiry to admission; optimistic about Brookdale"
The receptionist got back to me quickly to confirm our tour. On Monday, she called to answer my questions before the video tour. We FaceTimed on time with the director. They assessed with a nurse and accepted her for admission. Now we just need to finish the paperwork and move in. We think Brookdale will be a good fit for my sister.

"Impressive community with tailored care and active engagement for residents."
I visited this place when searching for a home for my friend, and I was impressed by what I saw. It was tough to decide, but when I learned they didn’t offer skilled care, we chose another community. I wanted to avoid moving my friend again, as it can be very disruptive. They tailored things for each person’s needs with activities every day. There were enough staff to assist with everything. The staff communication was excellent, and they interacted well with residents.
