"High turnover, lacking care, missing belongings"

Since July 2023, high turnover, lacking activities, forgotten dietary restrictions.

"Understaffed but Beautiful Facility with Mixed Caregiving Quality"

This place looks really nice, but they're going through what everyone's dealing with - not enough staff. Some of the caregivers are great, but others aren't so good.

"Think twice before moving in here. Poor staff turnover, lacking activities."

Don't move in here. The staff turnover is awful. All they do for memory care residents is feed them and put them in front of a TV. No activities despite having a calendar.

"Mixed Staffing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"

The assisted living facility is newer and quite pleasant. The staff is relatively new, with the director having been here for a month and the head of nursing for three weeks. However, there have been frequent staffing changes. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like the staff has developed strong relationships with the residents.

"Communication Problems and Neglect at Demaree Assisted Living Facility"

The experience with Demaree Crossing was a disaster for our family. Sure, the place looked fancy and their sales pitch was slick. But, as soon as we moved Mom in, the good rapport evaporated. When Mom fell and was taken to a hospital, the first call we got was not from Demaree but the hospital staff! They were asking us medical questions about Mom. Even worse, Demaree’s staff sent her off in an ambulance without even knowing what hospital she was being sent to. There were many instances of mixed-up messages between the onsite nurse and Demaree staff. Once, we were told Mom might have covid. But later, Demaree said she didn't have it and they even cancelled the Covid test. Anytime we tried to ask questions, our calls often went unanswered. There was one good thing about Demaree: Mom really enjoyed the meals. But when her health worsened and she needed hospice care, we faced an important decision. We could have let her stay in Demaree under hospice supervision, but we had lost all faith in Demaree’s ability to look after Mom. So, we took time off work and chose to take care of Mom at home, instead of risking her care at Demaree.

"Uncommunicative and Uncaring: Parents Moved Out Within Six Weeks"

Terrible! There's no understanding, no concern, and despite my multiple attempts, I couldn't get responses to my inquiries or worries. I ended up moving my parents out in less than two months! I definitely wouldn't suggest this place to anyone!

"Homey atmosphere, spacious units, good food, outdoor space available."

Demaree Crossings is worth checking out for its homey atmosphere.

"Lacking Care: Disappointing Assisted Living Facility Experience"

This place looks nice but staff lacks patience and care. They're friendly at first but can be verbally aggressive. Residents aren't checked on enough. Social distancing isn't consistent. Staff seem more interested in socializing than caring for residents. No passion in their work. Not recommended for those needing extra care.

"New Assisted Living Facility: Pleasant Experience, Catering to Specific Needs"

Choosing a new place can feel uncertain. The apartments in the assisted living section were spacious. During our lunch visit, the food tasted good, and the chef was open to feedback. We met with the activities director and hope for engaging activities. The Memory Care side is well-equipped and tailored to specific needs, which mattered based on her siblings' experiences.
