"Positive feedback on Wickshire West Lafayette assisted living; new director praised."
My loved one doesn't join daily activities, hard to judge. New director is very responsive, aides good. Food is good! Recommend Wickshire West Lafayette for assisted living.

"Overdose Due to Poor Medication Management"
This place can't manage medication properly. They didn't give it on time, then gave it too quickly. This caused an overdose, resulting in my loved one needing to be rushed to the hospital. I wouldn't trust anyone I care about in their hands.

"Staffing Struggles, but Effort is Evident"
The place has been facing some challenges with keeping staff around. At the beginning, everything was top-notch, but lately, things have slipped a bit because there aren’t enough workers. They’re definitely working hard to get better at this. We’re happy overall; everybody’s helping out a lot and they’re truly going the extra mile.

"Headline: "Good Facility, Just Supervise Medication Management""
My family member's stay was fairly decent at this assisted living facility. My main issue was that they allowed him to manage his own medication, which seemed fine until he switched to a new drug. Unfortunately, he accidentally overdosed and ended up at the hospital. The staff was swift in assisting him and informing me about the incident. They're genuinely kind people and I just wish they hadn't given him so much responsibility with his medication. The place itself is quite nice and they maintain cleanliness well. My relative appreciated the food and the other residents. Despite the mishap, I still recommend this facility, just be sure to watch the staff closely.
