"Disappointed by rate increase, but overall great for Mom's comfort."
My mom really likes this place. We were referred here by a friend. However, we were not happy about the 8.3% rate increase in January.

"Dedicated Staff and Clean Environment, Food and Rent Concerns"
Two staff members exceed expectations. One staff excels at cleanliness, ensuring Dad's apartment and the facility are spotless. The other staff is compassionate, aiding with Dad's appointments despite my mobility issues. Dad criticizes food quality and accuracy, often running out of items. He's displeased with a recent rent increase, reluctant to seek additional care.

"“Cramped Assisted Living at Five Star of Banta Pointe”"
I didn’t like Five Star of Banta Pointe. We visited during Covid, so we couldn’t see much. The place felt too cramped for my loved one.

"Friendly staff, some delays in responses, good overall care."
We like that the staff is friendly to both us and our loved one. She has made friends among the staff. They are easy to talk to and address our concerns, though sometimes not right away. We trust the nurse manager’s decisions, but not always those of others. They could improve by keeping us informed about decisions. When we have issues, the director listens and doesn’t ignore us. Our mother felt welcomed and included right away. The meals seem good since we don’t hear complaints. We feel our loved one is safe here.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Experience for My Father's Dementia Care"
This place says they're dementia friendly, but Dad left unsupervised. They blamed me and rushed relocation. No rent refund despite prepayment. His community fee wasn't returned either after they asked him to leave. Some staff were nice, but bookkeeping is messy, and they lack enough workers. Dealing with them feels futile. I wouldn't suggest it.

"Mixed Care Facility Receives Incredible Staff"
The facility was pleasant. [Name removed] was exceptionally professional and helpful, combining memory care and assisted living. However, there were concerns regarding the special needs of memory care residents. Overall, [name removed] was incredible.

"Great Community Tour Experience"
I had a super cool tour of this place. It's really nice with friendly people. The person who showed me around was very helpful and told me a lot about taking care of older folks. The place seemed nice, but the apartment they showed me was too small for my mom. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and my tour went really well.

"Assisted Living Community Provides Great Care for Residents"
My mom's doing really good here. I like it, she does too. The workers are nice, always helping. They have fun stuff to do all day. Mom likes the food, it's good. I'd tell others about this place, it's good for us. I know she's safe and taken care of here.

"Homey Atmosphere"
The person who met with us was really good. She was nice, and I liked the homey atmosphere. The cost was a bit high, and the facility was older and smaller.

"Friendly staff, nice facility, not suitable for my parents."
My parents didn't adjust well at Forest Creek Commons. It wasn't anyone's fault there; it was just a bad fit for my parents. The folks at Forest Creek Commons were super nice, and the place itself is really nice. I think it's great for most people, but it didn't work for my parents.

"Safe, clean, and caring assisted living with responsive staff."
This place is really nice. It's super clean, and the people who work here are really nice too. The cost depends on how much help you need, but for what you get, it's pretty good. They give you a necklace or bracelet so if you need help, you just press a button and someone comes right away. They're fast and they let your family know if something happens. They have activities for people of different ages and abilities, so everyone stays busy. The food isn't always great, but if you don't like something, they'll make you something else. They even help you cut your food in the kitchen, so you don't have to ask. There was some money missing, but they're fixing it. They're looking into it and in the meantime, they gave back the money. I'm not happy it happened, but they're handling it well, which is important.

"Comfortable, homey, and safe!"
The apartments are a good size and have nice screened patios. The staff is very friendly and has helped my mom feel comfortable. Of all the places I toured, this one felt the most like home. Plus, the whole facility is on one level, which makes evacuation easier if needed. I would recommend Grand Court to anyone.
