"Affordable, Convenient Assisted Living for Parents with a Rocky Start"
The facility had a rough start but worked well for my parents. It's a good value for the quality. We needed an affordable option. Convenient location near their previous residence.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
This place is going well. The staff are really nice. My mom likes it here and has settled in. She joins activities and meets people.

"Good location, nice rooms, advocate for loved ones."
We chose Five Star Residences because of the convenient location, move-in special, and recommendation. The rooms are a good size, similar to others we saw. She has a nice-sized closet and bathroom, but I wish the kitchen was bigger. The activities schedule looks busy for residents who want to join. I would recommend it to others, as long as you can advocate for your loved one.

"We chose the community where Mom could walk."
During other tours, my mom needed a wheelchair. But at a different community, she surprised us by walking with her rollator for the entire tour. That’s why we chose that community.

"Friendly and Welcoming Staff; Facility Not Quite Right"
I really liked the person who showed us around. She was super nice and made us feel at home. The place was really nice too, with lots of cool stuff for everyone who lives there. But, in the end, we decided it wasn't perfect for my brother.

"Unreliable Care at Clearwater Commons"
Clearwater Commons isn't the best if you or your loved one requires assistance. Don't rely on them to provide ample care. They often fall short of fulfilling their promises.

"Average assisted living facility with friendly staff and dorm-like conditions"
This place isn't too big, and they're planning to remodel it soon. The workers here are nice and always willing to help out. The meals here are pretty average, kind of like the food in a good college cafeteria. The apartments don't have full kitchens, just small fridges like you'd find in a college dormitory. The older people here don't participate in any Resident's Council, but they do have monthly meetings to share their thoughts. The location is tucked behind a shopping center.

"Thank you! Wonderful experience at Clearwater"
I wrote a review in May 2014 and still feel the same way. I had to move my parents because my mom's health was getting worse, and dad wanted to be near her. They were NOT happy about leaving Clearwater since it felt like home to them. The building isn't too big, so people know each other. They loved the food, the room, and the staff, especially the therapists and nurses! One week, the occupational and physical therapists called me because they felt something was "off" with my mom. When I visited, I didn't notice much, but I took her to the doctor. It turned out she had a bowel obstruction that had turned into gangrene! If it hadn't been caught quickly, she might have died. The aides did a great job and kept my mom laughing. The activities director does an amazing job with decorations and events. The food is super. The location was convenient for me. I thank the Clearwater staff on behalf of my family for making this a good experience for as long as possible. God bless you all.

"Great place for seniors"
Clearwater is a nice place for older people to live. It's always friendly and well looked after. My mom says the food is really good, and she likes being able to choose what she wants to eat. The caregivers are usually very attentive and caring. I would suggest this place because it's a good size and in a good location.

"Few Assisted Living Spots Offer Separate Living, Needs Updating"
This place is one of the rare ones that gives you your own separate place to live. The spot is good, but the place needs some serious updates.

"Mom Says, "I Really Love Living Here!""
**Review:** Everyone at Clearwater Commons has gone above and beyond to make my mom's life safe, comfortable, and meaningful. The warm and caring atmosphere here is genuine. The employees truly care about the residents' well-being. There's a real sense of neighborhood and community among the residents. I can't count how many times I've heard Mom say, "I really love living here!" And the food is good. Very good. **Headline:**

"Met Patty June: Homey Place, But Lacks Unique Features"
It felt like a home, but it was a bit gloomy. I noticed a musty smell. The apartment was a good size. But when you looked outside, you mostly saw parking lots. The location wasn't the best for me. Also, it didn't have anything special that I couldn't find somewhere else that's easier for me to get to.

"Helpful Tour and Clean Facility but Nurse Availability Questionable"
I had already visited before, but they gave us a nice tour. The staff was very helpful (other places are closed on weekends). I liked the smaller community. It was very nice and clean, but I had some questions about having a nurse only "on call."

"Nice Staff and Clean, But Small Apartment Space"
The folks here are pretty nice, and it's super clean. The cafeteria is pretty big too. Just be mindful of the residents when they line up for their medication or when they need to sign out. There are cool activities to do and even a ride to the doctor's or for shopping. But, the apartments and the kitchen area, including storage, could be larger.
