"Mixed feelings about assisted living facility"
They're better than some others I checked out. But there are still some issues. Lots of staff changes, which I wish weren't happening. The food is yummy and they have lots of choices. I've liked the activities I've tried.

"Facility Struggles with Heating and Cooling, Needs Permanent Solution"
My family member stays here. The biggest issue is the heating and cooling. Last weekend, the air conditioning didn’t work (luckily it’s spring, May 2019). Sometimes, the heating stops in winter. This has been happening for over 4 years now, every season. I know they use an old boiler system, and finding parts is tough when something breaks. They give residents fans and heaters, but it’s not good enough. Last year, there was no A/C when it was really hot, and it lasted more than a couple of days. They have to fix this for good. It’s never a quick fix and that’s just not okay. Other than that, it’s a decent place.

"Disappointing Rehab Facility Offers Subpar Patient Care"
This place's rehab department doesn't measure up. If you don't have someone watching out for you, there's a risk in going here. After a few days of getting meds late, nobody responding to the call button, and other small problems relating to care, it was time to switch to a different rehab place. Even though the inside of the rehab side of the place seemed really run down and dirty, that didn't make us leave. It's all about how they take care of the patients.

"Positive Experience at Assisted Living"
My mother-in-law stayed here for two years. We had a good experience. The community is nice, and we felt she was well taken care of. Overall, it worked out well during her stay.

"Great Value and Quality Care in Indianapolis"
About five years ago, my 91-year-old mom wanted to move from her senior living apartments on the Northeast side of Indy. We checked out almost every assisted living facility on the north side of the city to find the best one for her. That effort paid off because after meeting with Vicky Meier and taking a tour, my mom was really impressed with everything, including the care, price, location, and value. According to my mom, the most important thing in a senior living facility is the quality and variety of the meals. After five years at the Forum, she still talks about how great the meal service is. My wife and I usually have lunch with her on holidays, and we always enjoy a well-prepared meal too. Last year, my mom wanted to move to a ground-level apartment from the third floor. Before she moved in, they completely refurbished the apartment with new granite countertops, carpeting, a fresh coat of paint, and a built-in microwave. It was like a brand-new apartment.

"Memory Care Lacking, Pricey, Limited Activities"
The place is pretty good overall. Most of it is for folks who can handle things themselves. About 20 units out of 100 are for those who need a bit more help. The part for people with memory issues doesn't seem as nice as the rest. It costs a lot for what you get there. Also, they don't have many things for people in the memory care area to do. They say it's because eating takes so long.

"Decent but Neglects Memory Care with High Price Tag."
This is a pleasant place, mainly serving independent living with just a fifth of its 100 units dedicated to assisted living. The memory care section, however, seems neglected in comparison to the rest of the premises. Also, it's highly priced given what the memory unit offers. They don't have activities for memory care, citing that dining takes up to 1 - 1.5 hours per session.

"Falls Short of Expectations, Feels Outdated and Confining"
This place wasn't what I thought it'd be. It felt like I was in an old-fashioned nursing home, especially in the rehab area. The independent living sections were nice to look at, but all three floors made things confusing and felt too cramped. I'm pretty let down, to be honest.
