The director listens to feedback. The support staff isn't very friendly, but the nursing staff is mostly nice. The food isn't good but is getting better. The events are impressive for a small community.

We like most of the staff at Lake City Place because they're friendly and seem to care about the residents. Some staff members aren't as friendly though. The place could be cleaner.

"Poor Experience at Lake City Place Assisted Living Facility"
I wouldn't recommend Lake City Place to anyone. My relative's room was rarely cleaned during her stay because of staff turnover. The toilet seat riser was never cleaned. Some staff members were bullies, treating residents poorly when administrators weren't around. One night, my relative saw another resident not served at dinner. When she spoke up, staff dismissed her and told her to mind her own business. After she insisted, they gave the resident a makeshift meal, but scolded my relative. When we complained to administration, they defended the staff member and shared irrelevant personal details. Afterward, they ignored my relative's call button and made mistakes with her medications, refusing corrections. They retaliated by mishandling her meds further. I moved her elsewhere, where she's happier and better cared for.

"Convenient Single-Floor Assisted Living with Pet-Friendly Amenities"
I like that this community is all on one floor. It also has access to a courtyard so people can enjoy it without wandering off. Pets are allowed to visit, which is great for my loved one. Other places I checked were two floors or required moving my mother for any changes, which I didn't want. It's an age-in-place facility and works well for us.

"A Cozy Assisted Living Community with Plenty of Activities"
They’ve been excellent. It’s a cozy community with a personal touch, perfect for my loved one. There are around 45 rooms. My family member enjoys most of the food, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents active, including arts and crafts, cooking, games, and balloon badminton.

We’re happy with how they take care of Dad and Mom. Everyone is friendly and helpful, but we worry about the changing administration and staff quality. Meals have their ups and downs. Some staff members have been extra helpful, and we appreciate them.
