"Assisted Living Facility Review: Meadow Lakes Offers Excellent Communication and Care"
My dad lives at Meadow Lakes Assisted Living and Garden Homes. Staff communicate well with us, keeping us updated on any changes. They show personal interest in him and us. Housekeeping is good. Dad loves the meals. I'd recommend it.

"Memory Care Concerns at Meadow Lakes"
Meadow Lakes was quite far and lacked male residents. We felt uneasy because they wouldn't show us the memory care unit. Our mom has Alzheimer's, so this was crucial. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to see it—a big red flag.

"Great Independent Living Community!"
I really recommend this place. It’s more independent, but it’s great for my family.

"Assisted living area nice, concerns over independence and location."
Dad might not need that much independence; he's okay with check-ins. The area is nice and pet-friendly, but I'm concerned that the independent living units are not connected to the main area. The adviser mentioned that they sometimes don't see those residents at all in the garden homes.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
I didn’t like this place much. It looked like a mix between a nursing home and a hospital. Wheelchairs were all over the halls, and the patient rooms were too small to fit them inside. Patients had to share rooms, separated only by curtains. It felt more like a hospital than a home. I wouldn’t want to live there; it seemed like they were just storing elderly people.

"Smaller Community, Active Residents; Ideal for Engaging Social Atmosphere"
The community was smaller than we expected. We wanted a bigger place for Dad to be active and meet more people. We saw residents participating in activities.

"Lacking Promised Meals and Snacks in Assisted Living"
The whole community is clean, but the individual rooms need more attention. Residents with hearing issues should have more activity options. Promised meals and 24-hour snacks are missing.

"Mixed Experiences with Assisted Living Facility"
My aunt stayed at this place, and before her, my mom was here for a few years. Actually, my mom was one of the first to join. Everything was great when my mom was here, but after she passed away, my aunt had some troubles. Once, they found her hurt on the floor, and she had to go to the hospital before we even arrived. We still don’t know what really happened, and neither do they. They told us she might’ve fallen and bumped into furniture, but we started to feel unsure. We saw that my aunt was getting worse. She was in the regular assisted living area, but after that scary event, they said she needed to be in the Alzheimer’s care section. They only gave us one day to decide if we would move her there or take her out, which didn’t seem very thoughtful. The facility was really good for my mom because she could let us know what was going on, but it wasn’t the same for my aunt.
