"Enthusiastic Director, But Facility Not Yet Ready"

Our family went to see Morningview Assisted Living in person, but the director showed up late. The place is really old and it looks like it needs a bunch of fixing up. Normally, me and my sister think old stuff and antiques are cool, so that’s not a big deal. The problem was, it just didn’t seem like it was ready for people to live there yet. The guy running the show was super excited and had some neat plans, but the place itself just wasn’t ready to go.

"MorningView Tour Impressive, Facility Needs Updates"

We had a great tour at MorningView. The new person in charge was fantastic. However, the facility is quite old and needs updates, so we chose elsewhere.

"Great care and safe environment for memory care"

We haven’t tried the food ourselves, but our loved one says she enjoys it. Activities are starting up again, but outside visitors aren’t allowed yet. While there are more expensive places around, our loved one gets the care she needs here. The staff does their job well, and if we have any questions or problems, we can call or email and get quick responses. We like that this community focuses on memory care. The dining rooms are on the same floor, so there’s no need for stairs or elevators. The aides make sure residents are taken to meals on time. It’s a very safe place.

"Confusion at start, but great tour once inside Morningview."

When we arrived for our tour at Morningview, it was a bit frustrating because they weren't expecting me or I wasn't on the schedule. It was also unclear which door to enter, so we stood outside in the freezing cold. However, once we finally got inside and began the tour, everything turned out great.

"Severe Staffing & Service Issues at Assisted Living Center"

I work as a caregiver and one of my clients has been living at this facility for a month. We experienced a staff member shouting at my client within the first day. Often carried late, the food is usually cold when it gets to the residents. The meat served is tough and difficult to chew. There aren't enough staff members to handle the amount of residents at this center and they usually appear to be on a break or unreachable. Forced to wash my client's laundry at home, despite laundry being part of the program, my client constantly runs out of clothes with wearing only one outfit daily. Residents are often neglected and can be seen sharing food and drinks. The few hardworking staff members they do have are overburdened.

"Safe Place for Alzheimer's Care"

Safe place. The first floor handles the most advanced Alzheimer's cases. The second and third floors cater to different stages. It's a 52-bed facility that provides stimulating care assistance, along with group activities like baking, gardening, games, courtyard gardens, movie nights, and sun porch chats.
